Yep. I saw this arcade machine as a kid. It would always say, "OPERATION... WOLF" in its grainy sound clip, which stood out among the din of the other machines. I would mess around with the plastic gun mounted to it even if I didn't have a quarter. Qbert would make a physical clunk on its cabinet with a solenoid, and as a young kid it confused me. "Is that one broken?"

AVGN wasnt kidding when he warned this game could cause seizure! The entire game have excessive flashing lights when you shoot. How did people in the 1980s and 90s play this game without suffering from headache and eye strain anyways?

When a man single-handedly clears enemy soldiers, helicopters, and tanks out of a rural village with an Uzi, he deserves two things; a young, pretty, local woman to treat his wounds, and a pack of smokes worthy of the most ballsy badasses that military conflict can produce. he does this all while carrying a wounded fella on his back, with no cover or concealment, totally out in the open ala Arnold in Commando (this game is basically that movie as a video game), using a pistol-caliber submachine gun against AK-47, RPG, 50 caliber guns, and copters and tanks
Lol definitely the 80s. Makes me think of the movie Commando, especially the intro scene in the game when the pixelated guy is tying his combat boots and strapping on and/or taping munitions to himself. It just needs the camo paint that Ahhnold put on his face and biceps.
I wasted a lot of my childhood and pocket money on this game first trying to beat it and then beating on a single credit which I finally achieved in 1991, and in the end I was just relieved to get it over with and avoided the game for at least a decade after.
I have done this so many times, but to add some sort of realism to the arcade game on MAME, I use the mouse with my right hand, while I hold an Micro Uzi airsoft gun (which is unloaded for obvious safety reasons) and follow the cursor with it.
Plastic, cabinet mounted Uzis. Definitely the appropriate weapon for the distance he's firing from. But it was the 80s, and Uzis were just cool because they were in action movies. Ahhnold: "UZI nine millimetah".
I never managed to beat this game; I only manages to get to the middle of the last level a few times. The most nerve-wrecking thing about this game I think were sounds indicating your strength/damage, increasing it's tempo the more bullets you catch !
I would play the shit out of this if I found it in some crappy movie theatre arcade. Especially if it had that mounted uzi with the obnoxiously loud clicking when you fired.

Headache warning too, since constant flashing can cause a type of motion sickness. That gives a you a migraine headache. The 80's, it was different time. Since games like this make Polybius look like Pac-Man.
