What an excellent presentation by a great presenter! I shied away from Proc SQL because I found it to be a bit mysterious. Thank you Charu for 'solving the mystery' for me. Some time ago I had written a program that used three large input files. It had plethora of data steps, sorts, merges, and macro variables to look for previous information. I invested so much time to get the desired results. Had I used the knowledge that you so expertly shared, I would have been much more efficient in getting the results. And surprising nugget in your presentation was the information on subqueries. Thank you Charu for sharing your knowledge of Proc SQL!!
Thank you so much for your sharing, Charu Shankar. Fantastic presentation! There are a lot of amazing tips in SAS SQL. Especially, INLINE View, alternative ways for JOIN and format $quote40. So cool ! Those useful tips make some things easy.
Thanks for this video Charu! I particularly found the use of the macro variables AVGHEAT and LOWHEATRECIPE very useful. Great presentation on the Power of SAS SQL!
I understand the SAS Global Forum sessions are supposed to only be available on demand through June 25. Does anyone know if that means, for example, that this video will be taken down?
Hooray!!! Thanks so much for checking and getting back to me. In addition to the video being helpful and educational, the instructor is so engaging and enjoyable to listen to! ♡

What query do I run to see who brought hummus? Good job on this video, thanks.
Haha! No one brought Hummus, we need to invite another guest in part 2 :)
