There is a difference, we haven't had NHL PPV for our local team in a VERY long time. You pay for sportsnet, its not like its now cheaper missing games. I worked in the cable industry for 13yrs, and this sucks. They make enough money to provide games over Sportsnet as they have for the past decade. Pay for sportsnet online / TV, that is the same. Its now getting less for the same (or more cost), and having to buy 4 extra games. He is missing the point entirely.
At the end of the day, consumers need to use their right to not purchase things they don't agree with. If consumers don't buy the product, it will be short lived. At the end of the day it is we, the consumer, who can say no to this change.
