He's a Machine on those horns. I don't think everyone knows how physically strong this man is to be as thin as he is. It's deceiving. It takes serious strength to stand, hold and get quality consistent sound out of that soprano sax without a neckstrap! He's a superb musical athlete, believe it! His Tenor work is simply amazing! Awesome tone, control and his range is top notch. Try to play one of his solos! It's a challenge for sure!

Some singers and musicians who're afraid to walk among audiences during concerts are sometimes practicing lip and movement syncing, which in short is: Cheating with audience. Audiences are not stupid. If their hearing level is good, they can easily distinguish the sound comes out of a singer's mouth or an instrument from sound comes from stereo sound systems (assuming the singer or musician is standing really close, like less than 4 feet).
Great crowd back to that day when they realy enjoy everymomment without using phone to capture the moment ... miss that old day, such a good attitude audiences

New York's Radio, FM CD 101.9 - one of Kenny's 24/7-playlist "benefactors" - is long defunct. The G-man can go on for ALWAYS: he is personable, believes in himself, is a composer of digestible artistry - and some. Don't you love his tenor saxophone sound-voice? I do; hope you, too.
You mention about a crazy importance about walking through the audience. Almost nobody does that anyway and they don't necesarily hold back anything to the audience. The experience with the blind lady seems good but in no way means you will damage the experience by not walking like that.
