Hence why in Season 4 Buffy tells him off being in Sunnydale and not seeing her because she still felt him & couldn't not see him & it physically hurt her. So everytime Angel then came back to Sunnydale after that he always let her see him as she needed it as much as he did.

The only continuation of the show were comics and unfortunately there is Spuffy even though it was left open so Buffy is single at the end maybe they will get back together with Spike or someone else but I read Angel is married don't know to exactly who but he and Buffy are friends and he keeps visiting her.... that's what I know anyway you can love whatever you want to love it's ok I believe in alternative universes so I believe in some other universe they are really together and happy....maybe like they were in I will remember you episode from Angel cause you know not every Joss is such a bitter prick as the one from our universe. Also Sarah Michelle Gellar supports Buffy and Angel and I read that she even wrote a different alternative script for I will remember you episode from Angel show and Buffy is still with Angel even after he turns back into a vampire in that great episode... they spent her lifetime together and he keeps visiting her grave with roses... such a cute info I read it in the comments on the video about that episode. 🌹
