Insane video, beautiful bike. I have a Scout 2021 and I think about it like something really special and valuable. Maybe one day MEGA 🙂
I own a Mega, and have to say, it might not be the fanciest bike out there, but it sure puts a smile on your face, and makes you feel special.

which adapter did you used to setup eyelet in the new shock? i mean the black one with bearings (does it has them)?
Wait, just a question, is that carbon, because I see the weld marks on the rear triangle? But the front triangle doesn't have any? I'm thinking of buying a Mega 290 Carbon so I'm curious.
Front triangle is carbon and chainstays/seatstays are alloy.
this is so sick! how much did the frame weigh alone?
Thank you. Unfortunetly we didnt weigh anything. David has a rather aggrassive riding style and needs gear thet lasts. Weight isnt really a concern.

Thanks Markus! There are no tune options for the X2 shocks. We will do more videos and more riding videos on David so you can see for yourself. Hopefully soon 🤞

Hey Nicko, thank you! It is a Fox Float X2 model year 2021. Normaly the Mega 290 takes a 230 by 62.5mm but David is running 65mm stroke shock which works fine.

Its a Fox 38 in the limited pistachio edition with Grip2 and now 180mm of travel.
@@getsendyonsunday2840 does the extra stroke give any more travel?
I swapped a 200x51 for a 200x57 on my Trance and the additional strike meant rear travel went from 140 to 150.
Yes, but i can't tell you by how much it increases. To know that, we would need to know the excact leverage ratio at the end of the stroke.
