2% of players play in tournaments. And that includes like, teeny local tournaments at game shops. Play whatever you like, folks.
Then how many of the 98% wants to play competitively in the local games? 😂
@@manda60 a lot more than 2% of Warhammer players do play with a competitive mindset.
@@mortenbrandtjensen6470 And? Do you run out and buy a new army every time a update drops? Or do you play your army/ armies as well as you can?
the best is Nurgle cause you can take a blob of green stuff and call it X unit/model and its lore/model accurate
I am a deathwatch player, otherwise known as a masochist
Thank god they're killing the codex. Deathwatch is coolest when it's a kill team, not a parking lot of dreadnoughts.
@@BAGELMENSK im glad someone else said it lol
Some factions were just supposed to be allies.
I'm looking at you, Harlequins... and maybe knights....
Wow NO GSC , that's actually unfortunate. They're normally such a high skill high reward faction... but I guess no reward this edition
No wonder when EVERY other army has an army rule that people can rely on and sometimes even choose in the command phase what they want. And gsc is stuck with the most random and easiest to counter army rule tthere is. It is literally the worst army rule out there
@@Dovakhin94give my tyranids a pip of Ld (7+) then I'd be happy to trade.
It’s funny that there are so many picks of thousand sons cause I’ve been to some tournaments and was at a major tournament three weeks ago and out of 100 players there were 9 Tsons players and only 3 actually knew what to do with them. The others just had picked them because they here “Tsons op right now”
The fact that you're almost always seeing the Triumph run solo in tournament lists really drives home the difference between tournament play and everywhere else, specifically the amount of terrain. I don't think I've played many games where the thing could do anything other than sit on a home objective without getting blown off the table in a turn if it didn't have those extra bodies to protect it.
No Emperor's Children dang
As a grey knights player love to see this
I know some people won't agree, but I'm personally glad Necrons HCL rebounded, and had come back as the more popular way to play. I have some ideas why it wasn't always popular; cheese-teleporting C'Tan, and literally always being what you were facing, if you were facing Necrons, but as a fan of movement shenanigans, Hypercrypt Legion is possibly one of the few detachments I have seen that has almost made me invest in models, and I don't actively get to play 40k, so that would mean buying without using.
6 players on admech glad to see theres at least a few of us top tier players
I think I'm the only person on the planet that doesn't run TS with Magnus
Generaly it goes hand in hand with win rates other than Space Marine factions and popular ally factions.
Happy to see the Sisters getting so much love these days.
Id be curious how to properly set up a team list. Gut says the more fllexible army tried to cover the weaknesses of the other. Is thay about right?
Well, if this doesn’t prove that it’s not just new players dragging codex marine winrates down I don’t know what does. Feels bad sallybros…..
Seeing as blood angels and world eaters were picked khorne is pleased
As a BA player, I’m a little concerned about the win rate. GW tend to go overboard with nerfs like they did with my meganobz.

Nothing Deathwatch 🔥☠️🔥
The worst part about bad GSC codex is that gw will just drop points in autumn, so gsc will be even worse than admech in cost and only in 2025 we will have a chance to get better rules, which I don't think will happen due to every non GSC player reaction "codex is not great but you'll figure it out"
For the amount of prep work you do for team events like this I can see why GSC wasn't taken. They just got a new codex that fundamentally changed how they play. Sororitas is very much the same in style just with better datasheets
A guide of how to play thousand sons or how to start with it please.
No last ride for Deathwatch? Scrubs. /s
Internal balance in codexes mostly do not exist.
Wondering what GW is gonna do to my Tsons now that we're at the top. They already hit twist of fate, i wonder whats next on the nerf list.
Look at GSC.... they were the most overpowered army at the start of 10th.then they nerfed it to the point where no one is playing them
@@Dovakhin94 don't say that lol I don't wish that on any army (except maybe tau)
Everyone knows only the bestest of the best choose Tyranids in their hearts
There are two types of organisms in the galaxy: Tyranids and their prey
Only 6 people use Admech, well that was...underwhelming🤔
I personally expect a bit more, but the result is understandable🤦🏻♂️
God I love that divergent chapters can use the SM codex. It feels so awesome knowing that my army will only ever be half as strong as the chapters that GW decided to play favourites with.
everytime anyone names a fix for this other space marine players get extremely mad lol
You could always succumb to Chaos where we have Black Legion and... Black Legion cosplaying in Fellhammer Siege-Host...
Like the German boy said, The Codex Astartes is un buncha bullscheiza.
Surprise to see not alot of Custodes despite being a cheap army to collect. Guess they really struggle in GTs despite the buffs.
More specifically the current top armies, of which there are a LOT of people playing them at WTC, kill Custodes very well
Bad matchups I think and the teams can specifically force those bad matchups. Custodes are generally a gatekeeper army like knights, they are usually a mid table killing faction but less successful top table in tournaments. They are also essentially quite one dimensional at the moment, being mass killy power in melee, except Blood Angels and World Eaters do that as well but do it with more speed. You basically go wardens or venatari with shield host, that then kill most things they charge with all the sustained/lethal/AP buffs they can get and have some caladius as fire support. Blood Angels can do bigger blobs of faster moving killy melee with jump pack units, whilst also have better scoring options in JAI, infiltrators, scouts etc. than Custodes have and World Eaters similar, they can get across the board quicker, can hit as hard with bigger blobs and again have better scoring options like we chaos spawn.
ORKS IZ DA BEST
And remember, folks, the whole reason GW reworked and nerfed 10thEd 40K into the ground was to make the competitive scene more balanced. Deathwatch, GSC, Daemons, Space Marines and CSM can really _feel_ that hard work.
Well done, lads. You've made 2nd edition more popular now than it was in the 90s!
Running? Hahahahahaha
It's super important to realiser that team lists and solo lists are VERY different and to the majority of players this won't actually provide any info, regardless of how interesting it is.
Yeah, team lists can run a list focused on going against specific factions since your team gets to pick who they're playing against. While individual lists have to be more all-around
Too late. My Codex SM are already in the trash bin
Noticed this right away with Team WTC lists dropping. Nids had several list with zero mobility and scoring units and just went into all out skew. Suicide outside of teams.
