  • Early ancestors of whales seemed to have no chance to survive, and yet somehow they did. Many different species adapted to fit their specific environments, allowing them to exist on a global scale.

There's something majestic about documentaries set in the seas and oceans, Maybe its because not everyone can witness the spectacle of families of wales, sharks, dolphins and other ocean going mammels and fish, then a documentary like this comes along and the footage makes you feel like you're swimming right next to them, this was truly beautiful and a privilege to watch, thank you Magellan 🐋🐳🐋 💙

3 Episodes released all together, what a treat. Humpbacks swim close to the shore on migration where I live. It's always wonderful to watch them when they swim by. Thanks Magellan

Back in the 60's & 70's Jacque Cousteau was the hero of every American kid that love the Ocean, being a country surrounded by water, both salty and fresh, there was a lot of us. Whatever became of the empire built by Jacque Couseau, you hardly ever hear about it anymore

Also animals deserve to not be killed by human animals ,, regardless of how similar they are to your kind. And plenty of fish do care for their offspring .

You guys really messed up a really nice film. Are you teachers of evolution?? Are you paid to promote evolution?... Why can't we just have a nice film about whales?

In order to have a comprehensive history about whales and whale behavior, then they would also have to explain why they have certain adaptations. You can't really do that without explaining evolution at the same time. Well, I guess you could, you just wouldn't be able to do it thoroughly.
It's the same with elephants: about 50% of modern-day elephants no longer have tusks due to adaptive evolution (most of the ones with tusks got hunted by poachers, so they didn't live long enough to pass on their genes, unlike tuskless elephants). But in order to explain why this important thing is currently happening to elephants, you would have to explain evolution too. You know what I mean? You'd be missing a huge piece of the puzzle.

We are teachers of truth through our documentaries. If you want to understand all you can about whales, then you need to first understand evolution; hence, evolution being included in a documentary about whales and ocean life.

"It was God, trust me bro" is the explanation that people use for everything that they don't understand. And if it's something bad, then they blame it on The Devil instead. It basically just means "I don't know what I'm talking about lol". 🤷‍♀️
My Dad actually used to be a pastor, and even he doesn't believe in God anymore.
