I do this with Yves Saint Laurent’s ‘Y’. It’s an amazing cologne. Not too warm and spicy, more fresh and women love it. A lot of women even wear it themselves.
I was about to do that with Y too but I just learned they stopped making it! Switching to Hugo Boss
Hey a tiny bottle of petroleum jelly, microwave to melt, pour in a number of drops of your cologne or perfume and let it solidify... then be using the jelly on the spots you'd have sprayed the cologne on... lasts forever
well that's good I may try that
So, I made a few experiments and the result is not exactly "wow, it works great!", but more like "hmm, I guess it kinda works ok...". I guess maybe applying the scented body lotion under the perfume would work better (from the same line I mean)...
What if I will put a little bit petroleum jelly, into the perfume bottle to mix it, so instead applying a jelly into your skin, I will direct into the bottle of perfume.?. Is it okay?
It's not working that way. Petroleum jelly act as a "waterproof" layer to your skin so that the fragrance not immediately absorbed and can stays longer.
That would probably damage the fragrance long term. Having petroleum jelly deposits in the fragrance itself can't be good.
I'm mixing the Perfume with petroleum jelly.... and stock it somewhere cold.... 🤔 mix it thoroughly again once every 24 hours
I've heard of this but I didn't know if it actually worked.
You should have tried it. Nothing to lose. I heard about that long time ago and I was like “hey try it!” I did it and loved the result.
Dry skin absorbs the oils. Vaseline blocks the pores as well as keeps a sticky barrier for it to stick to throughout the day
Never rub on fragrance
Say Thank you to the African American women for this heck.
First the Doc slathers too much vaseline on her wrist and then he pulls out some dime store fragrance that she makes a face at. Yeah, that dude ain't going anywhere near me with a knife. 😂
wouldnt that make perfume to seep into your skin?
Mairah Raziq no because the upper layer (stratum corneum) contains keratine which conducts impermeability to water. Scents are hydrophilic products so that wouldnt be the case. Petroleum jelly doesnt contribute to the penetration of the scent. It only serves as a hydratant so it wont let the water vapourize from your skin thats why its used for dry skin.
It would be more logical if you sprayed the scent first and afterwards the vaseline, because then the scent would be trapped underneath the hydrofobic layer of the vaseline. This way the delayment of the smel would be increased more efficiently.
@@Rawin112 or u could spray it before and after and get even longer lasting effects.. good thinking man
@@Rawin112 hm but the thing is that the perfume will get absorbed by ur skin, so the vaseline doesn't allow it to get penetrated by ur skin and it just stays on top, projecting the scent. however I also thought that before too.

Glad Dr. Lisa is back, missed her, balances out the show. This trick works for sure.
