- The band North Mississippi Allstars, formed by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson in 1996, lit up the afternoon at Telluride Blues & Brews Festival earlier this year on Saturday, September 17th, 2016. Watch them play an upbeat version of their song "Shake (Yo Mama)" and then dive right into a soulful bluesy "Eaglebird".

As a boy of north Mississippi origins, I gotta say...these folks got blues in their very soul!
Go man. Smiles all over this 1960 rocker from LA.
Thank ya'll for this kick-ass jam.
As them At a place called the music Farm, in Charleston, SC. Sort of a road house atmosphere. All I can say Luther Dickson is the shit!
Help me find that crossroads Mr Johnson, said the Virginia harp player🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
North Mississippi Allstars super puper song !
Those "Dickinson Boys" learned well....
Tim, you ask about bass player? i know that Lightnin' Malcom has played with them, but this last year they picked up Carl Dufrene who formally played with Anders Osborne. NMA is an awesome live show. Anyone Go Check them out if they are in city!!!!!!!
I think the bass player has changed again. I liked Chris Chew and Lightnin' Malcom, but I didn't think he wanted to be a sideman opening act forever. I never saw a show with Carl, now with Covid-19 who knows when touring will resume.
Get Big Chris Choo back!
Chew
or maybe Danielle Nicole at least.
What happened to their bass player
Timothy McGinnis Chris has health problems. He got sugar. I wish he was back. Chris usually plays in his church every Sunday too.
@@catdaddy3302 bless him
Interviews I’ve seen with Luther, he says Chris is driving a rock n roll bus. That may be outdated by now though, idk.
Nice crowd. Bunch of rich white people listening to way too much funk for them. Stooges. Lol
Or just people listening to music they like. That works too
It’s telluride a libertys safe zone there’s never been an issue there just all stripes of folks enjoying the tunes and day
Awwww, this music is a Door opener ...for those less funkified?
The Universal language.
Think the blond lady got the idea
