Beautiful garden design! The azalea needs acidic soil. Add soil sulfur. The tropicals: avocado, mango, and papaya, need to be grouped together into a microclimate area. Use shading cloth the first few years and avoid being too close to walls (reflected heat).
Beautiful garden! You always have helpful ideas. I had a blank slate backyard when I bought my house here nearly 2 years ago. Since then, I have planted a fig tree, orange tree, peach tree, guava tree, tomato plants, and strawberries. Last year, I had oranges, figs, tomatoes, and couple of strawberries. I've also put solar lights all around my property. They work great here. I also have a jasmine plant and many other plants. But I just got more ideas from your video. Thanks!
Beautiful garden and backyard in general. I am planning to move to Phoenix AZ from Georgia and I am following your channel. Thank you very much on all the helpful information. NL
Nice Garden... and note on the vines that your growing if you want them to grow faster every 2 months add some fertilizer and you will see bloom pretty quick and Growth alot faster .. thanks for sharing look forward to future videos
Wow! What a great yard. Its huge! Who did the landscape design? Its like a food forest, combined into a resort setting. Seriously talented. So jealous.
I love your channel! I just bought a house in Chandler and escrow closes on May 4th! I’m excited to be moving there, such a pretty state and I’m coming from California. Your information has helped me so much, thank you so much!
I am so impressed by your yard!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I'm anticipating moving east-ish of Tucson early to mid next year and I've been browsing real estate online, but I need a lower rent district. LOL Anyway I've been rather stunned by the (sometimes) total lack of landscaping, especially shade trees in many areas. Seems they would be a necessity in the summer, and I will definitely add some if my new place doesn't have any in place. I'm surprised that you (or anyone) likes Chinese elm trees, though. I grew up with them and I despised those little papery seed pods. Don't they start to pile up amongst the rocks along your pathways? It's one thing to have to sweep them up, like I did, but it must be impossible to remove them from the rocks. Leaf blower maybe? Anyway, I'll be using your yard for inspiration. 😁 Thanks for all the information you share.
Wow...Jeff, every time I see your backyard it looks amazing. Don't know how you did all that. Does the garden bring out any dessert critters like spiders or scorpions ? I have read being in Queen Queek or San Tan Valley or anywhere closer to the mountains that can happen.
beautiful yard and garden! Huge fan. I have 2 questions but feel free to decline if you're uncomfortable. I was wondering how much your yard cost total (ball park) and specifically your beautiful brick path around your yard. I live in Marana and plan on doing something quite similar to my 1/4 acre yard. Thank you for your time and videos
I just love your garden ❤. I'm considering Lux tiny home in Lakeside AZ. I would love a garden as well. Can I grow a descent garden veggie in Lakeside/pinetop area? Thank you!!
Ok Im confused, you said Metropolitan are of Phoenix, Queen Creek is not Phoenix! wow your backyard is huge! and beautiful, you spend a lot of money in it.
---Any trouble with gophers and other vermin destroying your plants? My potted CA succulents seem to be dying, although I keep them in a "AZ room." I'm @ 5700"; it gets COLD out here. My full watering cans never froze in that room. IDK what went wrong. BTW, I have enjoyed your videos a couple years. I only escaped from Commie-fornia in 11/19. Keep up the good work!
sweet! the chinese elms and tipu are going to get huge and give amazing shade. to help them get strong and stand on their own, i'd look into how to properly stake them instead of the nursery stake right next to the trunk. #friendlyadvice I love being out in my back yard!

Love it! We’ve been planting in California and it’s fun to watch the growth. Sustainable living. And a fun hobby.

Would climbing roses and clematis grow well in your yard? If so, they would help to cover the walls and give you some color as well.
i just planted them so we shall see.
Do you have a uv light in your pond? An aquatic guy at a fish store told me that's the key. Roses are gorgeous.
I just love your garden ❤. I'm considering Lux tiny home in Lakeside AZ. I would love a garden as well. Can I grow a descent garden veggie in Lakeside/pinetop area? Thank you!!
I love your videos. How’s the weather In Arizona in the Spring?
Any recommendations for a landscaping company to do a small patio in North Phoenix??
Do you hire a landscaper? That yard will be alot of work to maintain once established..
Nice backyard, when’s the house party for your subscribers?
Ok Im confused, you said Metropolitan are of Phoenix, Queen Creek is not Phoenix!
