Deftones created something no one knew was needed in music. Chino and his Duran Duran Depeche Mode The Cure love, Stephen with his haunting mathematical guitar riffs, Abe with his hip hop and pop drums, it shouldn't have worked but it did and the world has been better because of it. They single handedly created so many new genres and still 30+years later are still blowing us away

I am 41, and saw Deftones at Warped Tour 98 in Seattle. They changed my life with 7 words when I was just a 6th grader, so that show was an amazing, harrowing experience.(was up against the rails, as a scrawny 8th grader) However, if you had told me that Chino would be a part of not only more killer Deftones stuff 20+ years in the future, but a whole new project that made some of my favorite songs ever, I would have slapped you and rolled you a J with you. Crosses is some of the most transportational, and deeply infectious music I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. The facade of reality is crumbling, but the music and energy we generate remains eternal. Thank you for all the amazing vibrations Chino and company.
