Epiphany.. This one is not exactly the full song . The live version is the one. Watch the live remix version. Totally worth it. Because JIN LIVE VOCALS ARE INSANE AND GIVES YOU THE CHILLSSSS..Ephihany is the song which made me Army, there is another special song for Army by Jin is the Astronaut. He made it for the Armys before he enlisted to military.
I loved the stage mix but the stage mix doesn’t have subtitles and I wish for her to read the lyrics for the whole song because it’s beautiful.
Hobi has music that fits his happy vibes too, I really love how versatile his style is (the other members are similar too). All of them can go from 1 to 100 real quick and it gives you so much whiplash, especially if they do it on stage. I fully recommend watching their WINGS solos live, then the ones from the Love Yourself series, then Map of the Soul (this one has unit songs too, other than rap/vocal line).
WINGS: Begin by Jungkook, Lie by Jimin, Stigma by V, First Love by Suga, Reflection by RM, MAMA by j-hope and Awake by Jin. All of these have live performances as well so definitely recommend checking them out.
Love Yourself: Euphoria by Jungkook, Trivia: Just Dance by j-hope, Serendipity by Jimin, Trivia: Love by RM, Singularity by V, Trivia: Seesaw by Suga and Epiphany by Jin. Again, definitely check out the live performances.
Map of the Soul: Persona by RM, Shadow by Suga, Filter by Jimin, My Time by Jungkook, Inner Child by V, Moon by Jin and Ego by j-hope. I don't actually remember which songs have live performances, but I know that at least Filter and Persona do.
I fully recommend also listening to more of their solo songs and Soundcloud covers, as well as watching their award show performances (MMA and MAMA), they're insane.
Moonchild is really close to my heart. I had always liked it, but it took new meaning after my Dad's passing and I would just lie awake at night listening to it. The lyrics seemed to be for people going through a hard time and still trying their absolute best to hang on.
When he said that "You wanna let go, but you put on another weight", I thought he was literally, specifically talking to me (I remember I started an internship just because I needed something to do). I tear up everytime I read the lines, "Thinking of not thinking is still thinking".
And yet, I feel the message of the song is positive, since he says that all of these people who are having a hard time can find comfort in each other and their "thorns", since " We're each other's nightscape, each other's moon".
I was very happy to see you listen to this song of RM, even though there are more popular songs out there.

19:37 epiphany: I usually have a hard time saying myself that I love myself, but if Jin is telling me to do so, it’s easier 💜🫶🏻 I think it’s a lot easier loving others than myself, and I’m practicing everyday beeing open for love and telling myself I’m worth it. Jin is a person I can learn a lot from, about enjoying oneself and beeing a good person.

jhope is such an amazing rapper and bout what u said (u were expecting a song that matches his bright personality) he rlly does have songs like that especially from his mixtape (hopeworld) but arson is from his latest album (jack in the box) and the album itself is a different side he wanted to show, u should def check it out cuz its one of my fav solo albums and the songs r all masterpieces!!
bout what u said of RM being a poet i definitely agree, he has genius lyrics and such an amazing view and way of portraying things that leaves u in shambles and sobbing cuz the man hits a little too close from home and even hugs u after lolll plz check more of him too, his mixtape "mono" is my fav album from him but his latest one (indigo) is amazing too!!

4:38 Arson: that’s the jhope I discovered first. To be exact it was his song „more“ live at lollapalooza. And I was shocked to see how he portrayed himself before, his sunny bubbly personality and I was hooked because I appreciate human complexity and deep characters. Arson is from his solo album jack in the box, you need to watch his documentary jhope in the box , it gives you the perfect overview about how he came to make this album and the lollapalooza performance.
Oh and you are right. This songs and album are mostly kind of dark but very hopeful lyrics. On the other side his mixtape hopeworld is cheer-and colorful sounding but kind of dark in the meanings as well. Jhope is an artist you have to listen to and look carefully snd mindfully. As are the other members 🥲💜

A lot of Jhopes music in the past is very much like his personality. Arson and More from his album jack in the box was like him showing a whole need side to him. We were all super surprised!

Yes. His first was like that it was jolly and full of hope. Pandora's box when evil was unleashed to the world what's left in the box was HOPE.
That's why his first mixtape was HOPE WORLD.
But later on he said he's been feeling stuck and limited by he's persona, that's why he released JACK IN THE BOX a more edgier darker concept and rock hip-hop music. Which is completely opposite of the first box.
I really Love how versatile and complex they are as humans. We can't simply just decide what their personality or music is like.
Similar with RM but total opposite with Jhope. RM used to rap heavier and very intense. He was not called RAP MONSTER for nothing especially his song Joke.
Anyways he updated his music to his second mixtape was MONO then his current release was INDIGO.
In short he went from very HARD rap to SOFT wholesome rap.
Epiphany is not a song it's an emotion. And u should definitely watch the live version, the emotion with which jin has sung this song will definitely give u the chillsss, and one more thing, seven really is the superhit song and there is also an explicit version of this song which is just amazingggggg💜💜💜thank u for reactions i m definitely loving it so far.
If you listen to Arson one more time1 be sure to pay a lot more attention on ad libs He is the king of ad- libs. He has more like street style. He's not only a rapper, but he's truly a hip_ hopper.

These are all great choices! Hobi's "Jack in the Box" album is OUTSTANDING, and "Arson" is one of my favorite songs ever. "Seven" is fun, and it's a smash. The video is funny, and I'm very grateful for wet T-shirts. RM has so many great solo songs, but "Moonchild" is one of my favorites. And you absolutely cannot go wrong with "Epiphany". Jin has such a gorgeous voice, and the power behind it is unmatched. It's so hard to believe that he never sang before he joined the group.

Yay finally.Really,they have so much songs as a group and an indivudual even without solo debut yet.Specially the raplines that releases mixtapes and an official album just last year. They also have shows like Run bts,In the soop,Bon voyage and a lot of documentaries. If they are so good at mv's and studio records,They are so much better in live performances. - Jin learned to play the piano solely because he didn't want to fake it on stage during this song. (He also plays the guitar.)
- He did in fact not write the melody for Epiphany as we know it. He worked really hard on producing his own version only for Bang PD to replace it a few days before deadline with a melody that he felt would fit better in the over-all album concept. However Jin's own version is on their new album and I'm dying to hear it! 😱 (Drops June 10th, with a free online concert "with a special guest" on their debut date June 13th.)
- Jin has hit a G5# live, full-on belting, without even going into breathy falsetto, in his famous triple high note in Crystal Snow.
- Epiphany has literally saved the lives of so many people, mine included. I've seen grown men and women cry when they first heard it. It's message has pulled people out of some very dark thoughts and situations and/or inspired them to change their circumstances.
- Epiphany is also very important to the guys themselves and Suga even named it as his favorite BTS song once.
The Love Yourself series goes through three stages of love
"Love Yourself: Her" (serendipity, euphoria)- The feelings of butterflies when you like someone or when you first start a relationship
"Love Yourself: Tear"(singularity)- The downfall of a relationship. Changing yourself for someone else. Feeling trapped and hurt

Facts: Jin is the only idol to receive a standing ovation from the Japanese audience not even once, but twice for Epiphany. Jin said he felt so emotional from the overwhelming feeling.
Also the Creative Direction of the concerts said that:
The roar from the audience was super loud. The whole impression the performance was making on him felt "so holy," as if he was meeting a god. The stage presence of Seokjin is really unmatched.
Another shocking fact is that Jin was performing "Epiphany" back to back with "The Truth Untold" without having more than 1-minute break! Singularity, Serendipity, Epiphany and Euphoria are all written to coexist together and explaining different parts/stages of relationships (not necessarily just with a significant other etc but also with friendships, family and oneself). They are part of the Love Yourself series which is broken up into 3 different albums (serendipity is on “HER”, singularity is on “TEAR” euphoria and epiphany on “ANSWER”) hence why the vibes can be seen as continuous or similar in some aspects musically. Actually V and RM has a duet song, 4 o'clock, which is an answer to moonchild. You should definitely listen to it, it's so pure and beautiful..(V has other songs like that, for example Scenery.. these are all unofficial songs) 4 o'clock, Magic Shop (written by Jungkook) and RM's whole mono. mixtape (that includes moonchild) is my top 1 anxiety relief forever. Knowing what it's like to live in the darkness and find comfort in the night only, moonchild's lyrics adresses me on a whole different level. This is why Namjoon is forever my favourite poet, even though he's not officially one. Suga's lyrics helps me when my mind's sick, Namjoon's does when my soul is...they are my angels and that's why I love and appreciate them so much.. unfortunately noone in my environment understands that. But it's fine as long as I have Whalien 52 to sing when I'm lonely 🥰💜 thank you Min Yoongi, thank you Kim Namjoon, thank you Jung Hoseok, thank you Kim Taehyung, thank you Kim Seokjin, thank you Park Jimin, thank you Jeon Jungkook.

Don’t forget to watch the live performances with subtitles because like other people said songs like epiphany, serendipity and euphoria do have more verses but they are shortened in the music videos because they are comeback trailers but in the live performances they sing the whole song so don’t forget the subs.

Oh my gosh, Luna, these were suck great picks!!! There's really no going wrong with solo OR group music, but still, these were awesome. I couldn't pick a favorite if you forced me to at gunpoint, but I have to say that Epiphany is just so special to me. I know you get a ton of them so you probably don't remember mine, but I wrote a ridiculously long comment one time (it was an essay, to be entirely fair), talking about how BTS had influenced me with their positivity and brought me out of dark times, and Epiphany is one of the songs that immediately comes to mind when I think about that.
There's just no describing it. I had been having such a rough time with my self-esteem and confidence, and I went through a period of self-hatred that was really bad. Epiphany was the first song I'd ever heard that explicitly told me that I was precious, beautiful, worthy, that I should love myself. It was so so powerful, I can't even begin to describe it. I think I just cried and cried and cried. Jin is trained as an actor, so he's really good at emoting, and the way he put all of his emotions and pain and comfort into that song, into his voice, IT HIT. I still can't, to this day (1.5 years later), listen to Epiphany without crying. I think it was because of Epiphany (and the rest of BTS's music) that I finally started to love myself and take care of myself.
I know you've gotten SO MANY comments about it, but the live performance is so, so perfect. For obvious reasons, of course - Jin's live vocals are a blessing to the earth - but I think my favorite thing about it is the crowd. Watching the fancams from the audience during Epiphany is one of my favorite things after a long, disheartening day. The thing about it is that the chorus is partly in English, which is more accessible (though ARMY still screams all their Korean lyrics with COMMITMENT), so everyone sings along, and I can say firsthand that there is NOTHING more powerful than a stadium full of people screaming and sobbing that they love themselves and that they should put themselves first. Nothing. It is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, and it's on my bucket list to see it live at least once before I die (though it seems unlikely - Epiphany is an older song, and what with all of the new solo releases, I'm guessing Jin would choose to perform a new one).

RM is a lyrical genius. The way his mind works and he uses wordplays in both Korean and English needs to be studied.

August D’s d-day album is a masterpiece also, his trilogy Daechwita, Haegueum, Amygdala. And D-Day, life goes on , dear my friend , shadow etc etc 💜💜💜 if you read about Suga’s life story, you will see how his music and message he wants to bring across is so moving. I cried everytime I watch amygdala, it’s just amazing 😭
