Diving Galapagos 4k - A must on the diver's bucket list

- Unique diving around the Galapagos Islands. Watching the wall of hammerhead sharks in Wolf and Darwin was one of the most impressive experience I ever had. To play with the sealions is so much fun. To be honest, the whole experience over- and underwater is worth the effort like cold water, crazy currents and all the money spend.
Special thanks to the team of Ocean's 8, the best dive companions you can imagine.
The excursion to Champion for the sealions with Scuba Iguana was one of the best adventures, we had in Ecuador.
The crew of the Majestic Explorer was amazing, very helpful and attentive, the ship is awesome,.
Our guides William and Jorge were great. Without Jorge I couldn't get these shots of the hammerheads.

Good plan, May was perfect.
Very nice, specially the sea lions, mantas and sharks. You made a safari? You think that daily dives from one island are also interesting?
Gordon Rocks and Champion are fantastic day dives, Darwin and Wolfe are epic and only accessible by safari.

How many dives did you do and how long you stayed?
Ocean seems pretty rough sometimes and one has to put up with some discomfort looks like.

We did 2 days of land based diving and 1 week liveaboard to the Northern islands. Unfortunately our ship sung a few days after we left. Darwin and Wolf is for experienced divers only. But this is the easiest acces for big fish country compared to Malpelo, Cocos Island, Socorro and Malpelo.

Very tempting. I have close to 200 dives, mostly warm waters, did 4 liveaboards, I feel comfortable diving. In your opinion do you feel is that enough experience?
