This is such a huge improvement to the 1.0 version, god damn
The end of glitched gem kind of implies something, like steven has a very brief moment of conciousness and blames pibby for what happened to him and his friends when he says "and now, they're gone, because of her... happily ever after there we were..." especially becasue when he says "because of her" it shows a silhouette of pibby
“And now… we’re gone… because of her…(pibby)… happily ever after there we were…”
Yeah because pibby teleported to Steven’s universe and ruined it by getting everyone corrupted including Steven and Steven regained some control just to tell pibby it’s her fault that is nice lore
Plus the darkness was mainly going for pibby because maybe it’s their main mission and pibby teleported to this universe getting everyone corrupted no wonder Steven blames pibby
just got done playing through this myself and holy shit the glowup from the original is actually insane. This songs, the visuals, just pretty much everything improved from the original. Good shit to the entire team and I cant wait for future updates! Genuinely such a consistent upgrade from V1
honestly, im glad they didn't change the finn vocals, cause that means he still sounds like he's hyperventilating at 23:21, he still sounds like a phone ringing at 24:03, and he (kinda???) sounds like dismounting yoshi at 23:45

The fact that you can hear Timmy say “I wish to be Timmy turner” because it shows how Timmy is still trying to wish his way out of the corruption
If that is true then that is just heartbreaking 😢
1- I don't get it. I know the show and that but wishing to "bet timmy turner" is confusing. And 2- anyone noticed how vicky (I think her names vicky) isn't actually fully corrupted? One of her eyes is still uncorrupted so she's willingly using the corruption over fighting it. That's low even for her as the glitch takes over everyone completely but her.

If u didn't see their statement on twitter since it's been so long many assets were from like 3 or 2 years ago so they gave us this update while they work on finishing V2 cuz ppl have higher standards these days and the stuff they made date back to like 2022 or something
The devs were disappointed with Mordecai, but in V2, they are bringing a remastered Overworked and Park Peril and possibly more.
And it's not even as good as the original version

I only found the old sprite, I wish it was the old one when the mod was just the song from this one and the one from no hero. If they left more fluid it would be better. Even Corrupted Hero is much better than in no hero

1:11:37 Steven’s Body and Mental state was already bad as a kid, and it looks like here the darkness shifts his body to whatever age or form(Shown here 1:13:06) , and Also Steven protected the gems, and it seems the Darkness can’t break the bubble for some reason
In the original learning with pibby trailer, we see the corruption first in pibbys world so Steven probably blames pibby for it getting out
The darkness is actually inside the bubble linking the 4 gems together
How was the fall?
I feel like Steven is waiting to be uncorrupted, to release the gems. Like he's holding they're corrupted bodies to protect them from anyone trying to hurt them.
What I loved about the mod is that they changed the BF's design and he looks beautiful, with his typical confident smile, Beautiful :)

And speaking of the mod, even though the other songs are incomplete, there are things that are very interesting like Jake's arms, Steven doing his SUS pose and other things.
Speaking of Steven, I think his week is my favorite, since it's very complete.
And what makes this mod good is that it remastered BF's design with SJ's typical confident smile, it's beautiful :D

So Vicky is so evil, that the corruption just gave her powers and didn’t even need to make her serve it to cause some problems.
Some things I liked about this mod is the rework on Glitched Gem, it sounds more melancholic, and in Terminated I like how Mordecai looks more expressive, the vocals are still quite new for me though.
Vicky being almost to withstand the corruption is wild 😭

The ending to Steven universe honestly made me so sad, it shows that he was the last one to get corrupted out of his crystal gym family, and blames pibby since it does seem from multiple times we’ve seen pibby (trailer, April fools, pilot) that the corruption is following her everywhere she goes

I am quite surprised that people are still doing these Pibby Mods.
But for those who aren't aware: Learning With Pibby never made a greenlit even after the one trailer that was posted online that went popular, and the April Fool's special program on AS. And it seems that the show was apparently rejected by Warner Bros itself.
The person behind the trailer, as well as the show itself made a statement regarding about it's current situation.

Terminated is nice but it lacks the impact of Overwerked
Similarly, Spooked really just lacks the energy of most Skid and Pump songs, and then otherewise lacks the musical charm of their more chill songs.
I hope they get reworked, but overall love what they did cant wait

You know, when I heard the Main Menu theme, I thiugh it was somehow similar to House for Sale, from The Basement Show.
What I think about the mod:
Songs: 8.3/10 (Please revamp the Finn voice on Corrupted Hero..)
Sprites and animations: 8.1/10 (would be higher if they revamped the Pibby and Girlfriend sprites and the Finn sprites not being accurate to the original show, but that's a personal nitpick of mine.)
Charting: 7.3/10
Menu: 7.8/10
Mechanics: 7.9/10 A little basic, but it's mostly fine.
Overall: 8.0/10
The devs don't want the sprites to look show accurate for it being too repetitive nowadays.
@@deeseefeel It's just a personal nitpick of mine. I didn't decrease the rating at all because of the inaccurate-to-show the sprites look. I asked multiple people about the sprites and most of them liked the Finn sprites, so I rated it fairly.
@@ToasttedBreadd I honestly don't see a problem with the GF sprites, it looks perfectly *normal* to me.

I like this mod and all and this update don’t get me wrong but I was genuinely expecting to get Worst Day Ever and F.U.N V2 for this update and it was real disappointing to see it not appear. Hopefully they make their way into V2 but yeah I was totally expecting at least WDE because of the spritesheet used for Spongebob where it references the original concept art used to pair up with that song.
