Hate it they had such a sweet connection as friends and I don’t see the same passion that Elizabeth and Lucas had also I hate what they’re doing to Lucas character they still kept Elizabeth and Nathan friends prior but now Lucas is on back burner and the whole thing is awkward not natural
They purposely made Lucas have a bad past and that is nepotism. They purposely want to promote the wrong relationship to be the focus. I do agree that N and E do not have a real love relationship. N and E both have something bad about their past. E's afraid of that man that they brought in s11 and N is rebellious against authority. E also chose to cast aside her rich family background and forget her family. Only Julie and her aunt now came to visit her. Her father does not even come nor does she go visit them. That is also a form of rebellion. Lucas became a better person than both of them. Elizabeth owes Lucas apologies for the way she has treated him. S10 showed the worst of Elizabeth and Nathan how they teamed together and how the gaslighting and narcissism showed on screen. I am totally against it. Sadly, people who loved that season can't see that these were there. They are two teenagers having a crush on each other. in S10, there is no maturity, no romance, no love, but only negativity, backstabbing, lying, cheating, and coldness. I do not like the way Elizabeth looks at N either. She is scared of losing love. That is foolish. It is a childish look. Not a mature one. She lost her faith and Christian character. Every time they put them together they are like teenagers. I regularly skip those scenes. I consider that they really are wasting on the recording time and should be focused more on other characters that they had pushed aside. She was better with Lucas. She at least acted like a grownup. Hallmark refuses to show promo clips of Lucas and highlight too much on the wrong focus. I rather look at other sources that actually like Lucas and show him in them. The way Hallmark is hiding Lucas' scenes is also a sign of nepotism towards the relationship that they want to push. There is a lack of respect for what Lucas fans want now. Instead of making them happy, they are in fact ruining Lucas character and showing less of him and expecting fans to accept what they hear. They do too much telling and not enough showing of what we really want. I find these people are such liars. S10 and S11 are awful writing. They are purposely trying to write off what happened is s8-9.
