Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I really need to try all these finesse techniques I’m always hearing about. I’ve got everything to rig them up, just never tried them. When my boat gets out of the shop I’ll try them. I think I’ll even take your advice and only take finesse rigs with me so I have no other choice.
Thats a great tip with the ned-trickworm. Use them regular then when they tear recycle them for neds. Or even a good spinnerbait or finessejig trailer.
@@jeremyduncan9165 definitely i agree.. the 6" version of it is great also..and they scent the plastic with anise before the mold process and after that they put crawfish oil in the bags to go on the outer bait.
Thanks for passing on the info, I took advantage of the 20% Zoom sale from BaitWrx last week. If it wasn’t for ur channel I wouldn’t have know about it! 👍🏻🇺🇸🎣
A great video, I always wondered how well these things worked, will have to give them a try, I assume your favorite colors are watermelon red flake and June bug, how do you like Black, thanks for the good info
ZOOM TRICK WORM is defiantly in the top 5 all time,,, watermelon red magic, sprayed grass gives you a light vs dark contrast. I Still love the zoom magnum shaky head worm I wish they would make it in more colors, please. 1/16, 1/8 oz head and go!
Hi Randy slightly off topic to the video but slightly pertinent to what you said towards the end. I would love to see a video on the best techniques for cold water and really murky water conditions slightly out of season but you can't blame me for planning ahead, cheers Randy, love the videos greetings from England.
Had to make an emergency trip to academy sporting goods last night to pick up some bubblegum pink trick worms for my farm pond trip today.......always smash with it
I like that one suggestion about after a heavy rain. I feel each rain is different and fish each different. From overhanging trees to fishing washes and small creeks to moving out alittle for top water. A gully washer is pretty quiet for me but I go for the mud line. So, what are your ideas on this?
Hey randy do you think you can split the tail when rigging the zoom worm really liked that video when you did that to it ,say when Carolina rigging or shake head fishing
Suggestion... how about a video on where bass go after a big rain? We had a tournament on the Harris Chain this weekend, and some of the usual leaders came back with very few fish.
Oh yeah man. A brown watermelon seed ribbon tail with a flipping weight was the first way I learned. Then it was the trick worm depending on current I might weight it with a flippin weight or put a belly weight. Or if the fish get finicky especially on the cape fear river I'll throw a big shaky head and a big magnum trick worm fat mamma just does something to em. Bottom line trick worms is the jam 🤘🏻
I absolutely destroy them with a black trick worm on a shaky head in about 20 feet of water on a rock pile. I also cut the tail in half on the last inch of the trick worm.
I’m so glad you gave David Dudley props for his tip on the trick worm, he’s an extraordinary man and angler.👍
that is a sweet baitin' room to play with the ol worm in.
The weedless vmc neko hook with a zoom trick work is definitely my favorite wacky setup

Excellent, as usual!!
Loving the video!!!🤓cool hat!!!😁Great tips in the now famous"Tackle Room"🤓
I clicked on the products link as my contribution to the fund to get randy AC in the tackle room.
LOVE the ned rig tip, next club derby has a ton of smallies, definitely gonna throw this!
Thanks Randy. I appreciate you info and help to land more fish.
Great stuff 👍
Green pumpkin... the magic color!!
Thanks for the tips Randy

Great video by far my all time favorite worm,it catches them and bigguns
Love worm fishing, 90% of the time it's on the end of my line. (ALL)
I quit buying bags of Ned bait simply because I like using up old torn worm and stick baits just saves you a little money over the year.
I agree i do the same i do like buying missile baits ned bombs tho
@@travisbruno1988 I like that Ned Bomb on a drop shot too

Great way to reuse torn senkos and what not
Do the same myself

Texas rig, no weight, around the top of weeds, Llly pads, docks, rocks or whatever. Walks really nice and gets great blowups.
Same here randy trick worm has caught more than any plastic I ever used. Red shad culprit a close second

Is a shaky head retrieved like a Texas rigged worm with rod tip going from 12 o'clock to 10 o'clock while reeling up slack? Thanks!
Good stuff randy

thanks for the video never would have thouhgt to rig them any other way than texas rig i need to find more of the brown orange swirl ones
Randy why don't you hook the worm on the side on a shakyhead? Is there a reason for this as it is different to the texas rig?
He keeps his texas rig weedless, the shakey head was not weedless: hook was exposed. Just my observations, I could be wrong.

Black trick worm, split the tail up 3-4 inches. WEIGHTLESS is when it shines.
Thx d tyler
Randy have you ever fished the Kawarthas near Peterborough, Ontario? I really would love to hear anything you have. Thanks brother, regards, Cam.

Can you make a tshirt that says edible tidbit? I would buy it!!!

Like to use it also weedless texas style with no weight..or with a split shot. Different reaction with a split shot
do you fish the zoom trick worm with a shaky head?
Buckeye lures spot remover is somthing you need to try out
I peg a zoom ribbon tail worm it’s my bread and butter.
How many different worms do you use? You've shown several.
Loved the video
Hoggin tips
What about floating worm?
You forgot the floating worm!
I absolutely destroy them with a black trick worm on a shaky head in about 20 feet of water on a rock pile. I also cut the tail in half on the last inch of the trick worm.
That side hooking causes me to lose all my worms
That’s something I never throw is a trickworm
There is no way that's how you rig your hook
