For clarification: The Last Day isn’t a remake of the Love but a recreation of the Incredibox Unreleased song, the Last Day, which in itself was a demo track for the Love. This mod is extremely close to what plays in the song, just saying.
I feel like these effects do a lot with very little, but since we're used to mods just cramming extra beats and melodies into the effects category we've just grown to expect a lot from what should be a little. They're effects, they're supposed to be short and infrequent but enough to give a nice touch to the song.

Having these types of effects, I would argue that it makes mixing more flexible. Because they don't constantly make noise, it's easier to drop/swap them out without compromising the current mix. The exception is the bass, but that adds on to the low end, which also doesn't take away from the higher ends. Tl;Dr., the effects in The Last Day truly represent what an "effect" is supposed to be. Adding to the low end or little enhancements here or there that don't necessarily take front or center.
The whole points of effects in orginal incredibox is to add something little can fit and fills the song in, not like people cramping some sh** ton of melodies in the effects Thats why I like this mod ❤
The effects are ACTUAL effects and not an extra beat or melody, that alone makes this more closer to actual incredibox than any other mod, other mods just use the effects section as a whatever section and not actual effects

If you use him with Thomas (Beat 1), DJ (Beat 2), Scuba Diver (Effect 1), Red Rose (Effect 2), Laid-Back (Melody 5), and Fancy Pants (Voice 3), you can kinda recreate the drop from the original track. He can also be used with Solare Flare (Beat 5) for a drop. Although his sound could've been more, it can still be used good when used the right way. 🤓

I actually love most of the effects, but I do kinda hate Effect 5. It wouldn't be bad on it's own, but the fact that it only plays the first loop... why? I mean, if you don't want it to play on the second loop... just mute it. Also not a fan of Voice 3 since it does practically nothing, and Melody 5 since I feel it's doesn't fit. Other than those three, this mod is amazing!

Mods like steel factory or bonfire may sound great, but they barely have anything to do with incredibox and what incredibox is supposed to sound like. The way I see it is you have the professional mods and then the chill simple mods on scratch. I’m more impressed when a scratch mod sounds good cause it’s usually made by one guy with a subpar software, compared to a professional mod made by a group. The bigger one is higher expectations. It’s like if a kindergartener made something cool, and a college student made something cool, the kindergartener’s is more impressive
