Regardless of what people think of the current Quo setup, these four gave gents gave the majority of Quo fans many years of great music, the best of Quo you cannot deny involved these four.
Status Quo - Best live band ever! Great Respekt to Alan Lancaster! RIP Rick! The best rhythm guitarist ever and boogie king! Thank you very much Rick! Rock on in heaven!
with Nuff & Spud back you get the whole effect, your senses are rocked by strong percussion, deep, loud earthy bass, heavy rhythm and class lead. FF forever.
I feel a lot of nostalgia when I hear this magnificent group and what a pity that they are almost unknown here in The United States. I ve never heard about a Status Quo concert here in California. I just talked by phone with my sister in Mexico City and she told me that they were there for two concerts last april
I don't think Andy Bown gets much, any or enough recognition.. He is a very reliable stalwart member of the group and has been forever.. Very talented too... He isn't even mentioned when they mention the Frantic Four.. I wonder how he feels about that? This is the best line up though.. Good to see and hear.. Sounds like too much bass but it probably sounded better if you were there?
I didn't discover Quo until 2015, so I had no idea about FF v. CQ. It was all the same to me at the time. After listening to everything they've ever done, the FF is far superior. CQ is very good, but FF was simply a lot better.
Francis Rossi has his head stuck up his arse. This lineup was the best and should have carried on. I know that Alan and John want to but Rossi didn't cos he'd lose control of the band.
Status quo have never been the same when jc and lancaster were made to leave even peter k the other drummer was great..then 1986 quo died .when they took on the shit rhino .bring back lancaster and jc for real quo
The REAL Status Quo......other lineups are redundant compared to the chemistry between these four TRUTH. As for that Nimrod's comment about old farts.....he will be old one day. Coked up Parfitt and Rossi turned Quo into a second class tribute to themselves.......wish this lineup could hold together for at least one more album. Interesting that the guitars are struggling to keep up here.......
I was obviously there watching them after you had given up coz your golden boys left. Maybe u should open your ears and really listen!! I did the fan club gig at Brid Spa for many years, also flew to Belgium, Austria and Dubai to see them so say whatever u want but I'm a fan not a "fanboy".
This lineup can't be faulted, that's a given! However, Andy Bowen was always there from the 70s and especially John "RHINO" Edwards who fitted in with Quo from the start and is still the bollox!
After 40+ years of listening to Quo and flying around the world to see them, I can finally say I'm done with them. I have no idea why they brought these two old farts back. The fact that they've never done anything significant on their own in music in 30 years should tell you all you need to know. For those saying what a great drummer Coughlan is, I suggest you go and listen to Quo with Jeff Rich who is way tighter, and Rhino is a much more dynamic Bass player than Lancaster.
bruffie1 prick whatever 😂 John is heavy an amazing shuffle drummer. Alan is unreal and had the voice also wrote most of quos best songs get a life. If you were a true fan you would know that the quo lite can’t fill a town hall. But ff quo sold out in minutes all over the country. And as you should know it was Alan that started quo. Along with John n Francis Rhino is shite and Jeff wasn’t suited to quo
I’m 62 this is the quo I grew up with.
My God what an awesome version of this song... Everything came together here!!!!! Best SQ song !
Regardless of what people think of the current Quo setup, these four gave gents gave the majority of Quo fans many years of great music, the best of Quo you cannot deny involved these four.
All the planets aligned here in 2013 best Quo ever and always will be
R.I.P. Alan Lancaster
Jesus now I know why I loved this band when I was a kid. Never the same after the two boys left!
RIP Allan Lancaster member of the best line up for Quo
Alan Lancaster's voice was great on the bluesy heavy songs like this. This is the true Quo. 😇
This is quo was lucky to see them one last time
Glad I went to see the real Quo. Never to be seen again, rip Rick .
Status Quo - Best live band ever!
Great Respekt to Alan Lancaster!
RIP Rick! The best rhythm guitarist ever and boogie king!
Thank you very much Rick! Rock on in heaven!
Paris sounds like a real QUO fan.
I love the K in Respekt.
I'd like to hear people (Aretha) sing the song with a K in it. LOL!!!!!!!
with Nuff & Spud back you get the whole effect, your senses are rocked by strong percussion, deep, loud earthy bass, heavy rhythm and class lead. FF forever.
Amen
THIS is my Status Quo!! With Coughlan and Lancaster.
The other version before is only second choice.
I hope there will come a DVD from this reunion!!
This is the only quo , Rossi , Parfitt, Lancaster and coglhan , the original 60s-70s line up
Phil Cooke

I didn't discover Quo until 2015, so I had no idea about FF v. CQ. It was all the same to me at the time. After listening to everything they've ever done, the FF is far superior. CQ is very good, but FF was simply a lot better.

Superb.

Alan's leading the pack here... so obvious! Turned my looking up to Francis Rossi into Alan Lancaster! Still rocking after 46 years (for me that is!).
Frantic four, only 2 left, Andy Young as well, grew up with Quo
QUE DU BONHEUR !!!!!!!!!!!
İ love the movie
I bet that hurt rossi the welcome 😂 from the real quo army
Status quo have never been the same when jc and lancaster were made to leave even peter k the other drummer was great..then 1986 quo died .when they took on the shit rhino .bring back lancaster and jc for real quo
Proper Quo !
quo like a old wine better with age seen so many times and line ups
I saw the REAL lineup live twice, the first time they were second on the bill to Slade.
der Schlagzeuger heißt John coghlan ist der beste Schlagzeuger der quo aller Zeiten!!
Rick always had great hair.

Euro Guitar totally agree best line up
The difference in the sound says it all. The four together can’t be beaten the safe quo are shit in comparison
How the hell can Rich get anywhere near the power of Spud?
Truth hurts to the rose-tinted glasses brigade.

Ist der Bassist Alan Lancaster aus den 70 igern?
JA!
GOOD BYE ALAN LANCASTER 🇲🇽
This lineup can't be faulted, that's a given! However, Andy Bowen was always there from the 70s and especially John "RHINO" Edwards who fitted in with Quo from the start and is still the bollox!
Stewart Nicol as BILLY CONNOLLY yeah ok 😂

Agree with you, Jeff Rich was the finest drummer Quo ever had. In fact, I think he was far too technical for the band!!!
Rubbish , he was the worst . Far to fast
Don't they play "sex farm" and "big bottom " ? If they don't , they should
