So basically, you're making a simple square knot with your hair. You probably already know this, but it's the knot you do first to tie your shoes. Hope this helps you, I hope it doesn't sound sarcastic because it really wasn't meant to 😅

When I don't have to go anywhere I and I stay at home this hairstyle comes out so easily and beautifully... BUT when I have to go to somewhere, in the early mornings, something always goes wrong when I do it.... even though on week-ends I specifically "rehearsed" doing it many times and I had managed to do it at the very first try in a minute or two... It's been a third day I tried doing this hairstyle in the morning, I ended up heading out with a simple ponytail and being late.....
i also have the same issue unfortunately, however my bun also keeps slipping off at home. My low bun never seems to stay in place no matter how much pins and hair ties i use :/
This has proven an excellent way to get my hair under control at work on days when the humidity is making it go all over the place, or I slept on it funny, or forsook the leave-in conditioner because I was running late.
