In Fallout 4 you can build your own factories with the Contraption Workshop DLC. This factories can mass produce any item in the game as long as you have the raw material.
And that's why I love Fallout 4. You can literally create a whole society and profit off it.
Yeah there are a lot of great things in fallout 4 but you are still alone. 76 is alive real people around you all the time.
@@ARealFreeAgent All the gold the US had is in vault 79 in F76 a very awesome quest to try and get the economy up and running again.
I personally never felt like FO76 is a comparable single player experience to FO4. The mere fact I am on a mission and someone named SchlongMaster76 can swoop in, all kittet out in power armor, nuke all the mobs and disappear again is disruptive to me. I never feel like the hero of the story as there are hundreds of other heroes running around. I also have an issue with the monetisation. They maintain two different users. I use the same account on Xbox and PC however they progress separately. The stuff I unlocked on PC isn't available on console. Shouldn't be this way imho. That said FO76 is a fantastic fun coop shooter in the Fallout universe and definitely worth checking out. However if you want to have a true singleplayer experience centered around your character FO4 is so much better. Thanks for the Video.
This adressed my main concern directly. I'm a FO4 guy for years, never touched 76 and recently I'm wondering if I'm missing out on something great. But if it's as you say and I'm constantly unavoidably seeing other more leveled players, it's gonna piss me off more than I'll be having fun. Thank you. 😊
@@Argaitlam The only way to avoid it, is to pay for Fallout 1st sub and play on a private instance.
@chaosmeisters6781 then I guess I'll not play it. After all, I was just curious.
Just enjoy the games.too many people complain. Play for yourself, and enjoy 😊
the quick resume on xbox is a GOAT.........thx for the video ren
Simplest way to nutshell it: 76 feels like an updated 4 with more survival food/water management, shuffleable perk cards for easier weapon builds, some new weapons/armor, broken down into a crafting plan system mixed with perk point unlocks, and public events, and a points shop. That last one is now in 4, in a different form, known as Creation Club, for buying mods. On a side note, I'd LOVE to see a return of The Institute and Synths in some form for 76. Love the Synth armor in 4. Hope this perspective helps.
I played to level one hundred alone on 76, then I learned the pleasure of playing with others. My advice start playing with others around level 50 its awesome and everyone is friendly well not everyone LOL! but most.
In 76 you do not have to move your camp if someone is in your spot, just server hop until you find a server that has the spot free. Or alternately you can switch to another camp you have on the same server. You can have up to 10 camps per map per character, but only one can be active at any time. Each person starts with 2 that are free, the rest can be purchased.
If you want to play something because of the TV show you should play Fallout: New Vegas on PC with graphic mods to make it look more modern. It's also the Fallout game with the best story arcs.
While I agree on the story, even modded FNV it is full of jank and hard to match FO4 in terms of tech. Still definitely worth a play through or two, however really rough as a first one. Especially since you need modding experience. FO4 is fine without any.
@@chaosmeisters6781 Yea, now Microsoft really needs to remake New Vegas now when they own both Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment. But allot of players has moding experience from other games like Skyrim etc.
Fallout 2 easily has the best story and RPG elements and fallout 4 has far superior gameplay than the other fallout games imo
Play fallout 4 thank me later.
I haven’t tried FO76 in years, but I have consistently heard the game is far better than before.
They say 76 has story mode and I am enjoying 4 for first time but 76 is newer should have better qol graphics so why wouldn't I play 76
I have 2000+ hours in both and here is my take: They are ENTIRELY different games with vastly different gameloops, especially when you consider what the endgame is in FO76. That being said, FO76 is fun for what it is, as long as you get FO1st, if not it is not worth playing at endgame at all, since it amounts to just frustration. On the other hand, modded FO4 is a greatly better experience especially if you consider that you are able to tailor the experience to whatever you want it to be.
theres a bit of a learning curve so start with fallout 3 then 4 then 76
I find the hunger/thirst mechanic super annoying in 76. and annoying I have to find all the recipes for everything I want to craft. in FO4 I also get free fast travel everywhere on the map and its much easier to get caps. I will revisit FO76 after I beat FO4 and get bored of it.
Well fallout 76 it's MMO getting caps easily will destroy economy, hunger/thirty it's a lot worse before your stamina will have red bar like fallout 4, but now it's doesn't matter of you are hungry or thirsty, it just you didn't got any buff
The question in my head is, do I waste time having fun in Fallout 4?
Or.
Start making a high ranking player in Fallout Online?
I’m like you, I’m basically doing both games at the same time taking turns playing. They both have their pros and cons, but both are definitely funner today than they were yesterday!
everytime i’ve tried fo76, it just feels so clunky, moreso than fo4 already is. There’s a slight lag when doing anything in fo76 because it’s an online game, while it’s very minor, i notice it everytime i try to loot a container, shoot an enemy, do anything like that, and it takes me out of the world
never noticed it. Maybe some troubleshooting on your end that is needed to fix lag?
Great comparison. Here’s how I see it.
FO4 is your classic single player Fallout with more of a power fantasy- your character is this unique pre-war man of destiny.
FO76 you’re one vault shlub among many scrounging the wastes. The world is more recently nuked.
FO4 is more dense due to the time and place of the setting- Boston 200 some odd years after the war is naturally more populated than WV 20 years after.
Perfection would be a blend of the two, but I prefer 76 because I love Appalachia IRL and like being another waster than some guy everyone mysteriously depends after getting thawed out. Up to you though.
Don’t sleep on the older Fallouts. They hold up well.
I thought FO4 and FO76 used the same engine? Their gunplay and overall design and stuff looks/feels the same.
@@Renfail Just saying to me their graphics look identical, I don't think 76 has better graphics than 4
Bethesda and Blizzard continues to astonish me on how disappointing they can get. I no longer think they can turn things around and I no longer think Xbox made a good deal by acquiring these two companies. What a disaster.
If fallout 76 made a survival pvp server . It would better than fallout 4 survival
fallout 4 and 76 are very different games first 76 you need drink and eat if you want survivor its really annoying think normal way you never see people take food and water perks in game charisma is very bad in 76 because its works on real players its works on npc too but not really worth but same time luck stats and pearks are very useful helps find extra bullets
Fo76 is my first fallout game i liked it a lot and tried fo4 and got bored quick. I thought theyd be similar like jet packs and camps also mutations
I'm here after watching the show. LegacyKillaHD claims that Fallout 76 isn't really a "Fallout" game it's a looter-shooter with a Fallout theme, poorly written with laughable characters and that Fallout 4 has the best characters and story. I'll probably play both but it seems like 4 is a better first choice.
There is no fallout 4 vs 76 it’s the same shit with different idea unlike fallout 3 and new vegas that’s worthy of x vs fallout 3/ new vegas.
100% FO3 FNV FO4 played and beat fallout, fallout 2, FOBT and FNV FO3 FO4 FULL MODDED playthroughs Mutiple times
Dust, obscureum ,frost, and one of the first hardcore survival mods involving nuclear winter mod in fallout 3 from like 2009-10
played almost every quest mod the renowned ALCHESTBREACH played through and followed is play throughs
of all the mods as well and even played along with him but watching fallout UA-cam and playing the game is scary as fuck cause you start thinking the gunshots are at you and or there's a deathclaw or some shit and your on modded survival and your scared shitless.
Still waiting for VanBuren
I hate the Vats system in 76.....
@@Renfail Come on dude its weird. They should have added something else maybe a hybrid system of it.
go with Fallout 4 with survival mode on
Bro did not answer the question. Should I play fallout 4 or 76…..”yes”
76 was an absolute sh!tshow trainwreck when it first came out
@@Renfail it really isnt, so laggy and sad even for bugthesda
I recently learned (after 1000+ hours) that you don’t need a weapon or armor station to scrap those items in FO4. You can go to any of your settlements, drop the item you want to scrap and then go into workshop mode and target each item to be scrapped and you’ll have the option to do so. The scrapped items go directly into the workbench. There is a limitation on some items (like various power armor can’t be scrapped) but I think this exists even at the stations. There is also the added benefit that the items instantly scrap and you don’t have to wait for the tedious “item has been removed from your inventory” messages. You do however need the different station to craft things.
