No, it's true. Liz and Dick York got along nicely, at first. As time wore on, however, he began to irritate her, by staring at her during breaks. There's a lot of downtime during filming while setting up for the next scene. This bothered Liz. He also admitted to have fallen in love with her, an unrequited love. One can love a colleague, on a professional or friendship level but, York took it too far. Bill Asher knew how his wife felt about him but, they kept him on for "chemistry" that fans came to associate between them. Liz actually wanted him fired. Asher confirmed her feelings to Erin Murphy years later. The important thing is, Liz never brought her feelings to the set or to the public.

Lol, I think a pretty good actor can appear as “normal” as they please - whatever normal means. That’s what they do - act. This was around September 67. Series 4. The whole cast,crew and writers created literally something quite magical and timeless. Elizabeth here, burning bright, just realised the uncanny resemblance to Agnetha of Abba.

I loved Elizabeth Montgomery and for whatever reason I still don't believe that she passed. Just my own thoughts. She was very intelligent and knew a great deal about the industry she was dealing with.
