my theory is sunnys existing magic just panicked and stopped it at astral wings and horn
I'm thinking that not only Twilight but her friends also sacrificed themselves, even though Twilight is an Alicorn and possesses magic from all 3 pony tribes she might've needed her friends who are all from different tribes twilight with her powerful magic lead this, and her friends giving her their magic all that magic was combined into one powerful magic orb then a flash from twilights magic separated it into 3 separate crystals, plus all of the mane 6 represented each element of harmony, so what if the crystals are also connected to the elements of harmony and the spirit of the tree of harmony.

That would also explain why the crystals have the spirit of harmony in them. But doesn't quite fit with discords memories in the comics.

@elimane2508 she's a fire alicorn that was banished from the alicorn Civilization skyros. She came down and attacked equestria & twilight had to seal away magic into three crystals and hide equestria with an invisibubble to protect it from opaline finding it
I think sunny didn't gain physical horn and wings because she reintroduced old magic and didn't make new magic which is needed to become a physical alicorn.
That is honestly is a good idea, maybe when she reactivated the magic of old, she was promoted an alicorn to be (a proto-alicorn), I think that all she would really need to work on is something more extraordinary to become a full alicorn.
Not entirely good idea on my end, but I think it would make sense along with you idea and it would be a goal if sunny would achieve if that is what she wants (I didn’t watch G5 tho)

But what if in future equestria we saw that twilight warned the main 5 about an alicorn who tried to steal magic with dragon fire so twilight managed to defeat her but all that magic she had stolen was returned but in crystal form but since they all would go there seprate ways twilight casted a spell which lead to this when they aren't United they will lose all the magic i know she didn't make this but maybe her magic did like a side note and the biggest problem is solved there isnt a sixth member Misty was destined to be the 6th member but they all also repesent an element

Twilight did not have to take away all the magic from the human world but she could have taken 20% of their magic so that the humans could have magic but it would not be as strong as equestrian magic and future Alicorns could have physical horn's and Wigs but still be less powerful 😊

I think sunny has to fully earn the wings she earned the ability for using it sometimes but to use it all the time and get Physical wings she has to Earn she hasn't become a title yet like Linda the princess of the moon Celestia with the sin Twilight with friendship and Cadence with Love so Sunny might have to earn her title before getting physical wings
I know I might be a year late but the thing is,what magical events would’ve happened after the mane 7 split up in the human world because the future of its magic must’ve cause some rip between the worlds which would could’ve open back the portal to equestria

This is a good theory but I find there are a couple of flaws within. (I have a summarization lower down in this comment if this is too long)
My personal thought on this is that the pony dimension of Equestria, magic is a natural being in that dimension where it can be unlimited becuase it is not only a dimension that possesses magic but it also sprouts magic from within it, for example unicorns, pegasi and earth pony as well as many other species in equestria depended on magic to survive and used it as a living, so therefore magic naturally abided from within the lifeforce of the pony dimension, I cannot say it will be infinite because according to science no dimension or realm is infinite but magic would last ponies and other creatures for millions of years. However, when it comes to the human dimension of equestria, magic was not at all a natural form in that realm which is why when magic from pony equestria was being seeped through the crack into the human world, most of it was uncontrollable and chaos magic, so I genuinely do believe pony version of equestria as its own realm would have more than enough magic to sustain itself for millions of years before possibly 'running out' no matter how much magic was given or leaked into the human world.
To summarize:
Magic is a natural property in the pony dimension where it is needed to sustain life in that realm so no matter how much magic may have been used or taken magic would always be renewable even if every creature and ponys' magic was taken away it is either tranferred into something or somewhere else (because magic does no just disappear out of existence) or grows back into its lifeforces of its dimension through time.

i think the reason why sunny didn't get physical wings and horn is because she didn't create a different magic like how celestia showed the magic of the sun, luna showed the magic of the moon, cadance showed the magic of love, and twilight (with the mane 6 ofc) showed the magic of friendship while sunny just showed the old magic.

But maybe the magic rolled overtime. Because in that movie, the Earth's ponies actually gained magic. They didn't have any magic win twilight and celestia Rude, so maybe that they're actually gaining more magic than some. The equestria have ever gained, so that would actually mean that sunny is actually making more magic and actually draining more magic from the human world.

I'm here confused about the fact that in the mlp: tyt earth ponies can use magic and they're also very good at it while unicorn aren't really good at using magic and if we look at mlp: fim earth ponies don't really have magic and unicorn are excellent at magic even little foal/fillies.
