Alright I'm getting this mod! Seems fun! I also feel like this is somewhat what's been missing in Infinite, there's not much semblance that you're in a coordinated fighting force, like even if every UNSC on Zeta Halo was either captured or hiding out in the wilds, once enough are brought together.... Well, they're not warriors, they're soldiers! There ought to have been some semblance of a command structure going... Even in CE, if you read the related book, even though it was literally just the Pillar of Autumn, they still had a base going. And in Infinite, it's literally the Infinity! It's a pretty pretty pretty big ship. Also also, I am looking forward to your next track man, the last two were bangers!
Totally feel what you’re saying re. Infinite, the AI themselves fight great with players but it just doesn’t feel as coordinated as it could be. I still can’t believe how well this mod stretches the original logic / pathing and tactics from the engine used in CE, it’s unbelievable. And THANK YOU! Submitting those two to streaming services this week, whilst I work on the videos for the rest 🍸
@@TheSlayer. If you're going to be real life pedantic, they would be Guardians, not Marines, because Marines are navy but the UNSC is a space force. In the future the distinction matters less.

Reminds me of storming the beach on Cartographer fighting alongside marines, I was always disappointed the group of marines didn't follow, only the ones you could fit on the warthog did.
That’s the other level included in the mod!!! I purposely didn’t mention the scope of it here but other reviews will have it included. All of that stuff gets reimagined so you can take all the marines with you, it’s glorious
Those marines should have at least gone to the entrance of where you get to the Cartographer and guard it. Especially since that's where they'll be picked up after Chief gets the info he needs.
When I was a kid and the game first released, I accidentally killed one of my guys with a grenade on the island. When they started shooting back, I was instantly hooked because no other game did that. After that, I protected them as much as I could and felt guilty if any of them died from covenant fire. I always thought future marines were cool so I joined the marine corps myself. I'm 33 now, but a lifelong Halo fan 🤙🏼
@RayJin-dq1td so a marine squad vs a standard covenant squad would actually be a rather even fight determined more by positioning and situation than anything. See the standard covvie squad is mostly grunts and a few jackals lead by one elite. The marine can take down the grunts no problem, the jackals are a problem if their shields cannot be dead angled but also lack full body energy shielding. With enough marine able to focus fire yes they overload energy shields and beat lone elites. Marines run into trouble when facing non standard enemy teams such as multi elite or special task or spec ops squads where there are simply too many energy shielded targets to suppress and have enough shooters to focus fire overload a shield for the kill. The key difference between a marine and a player's experience in combat during halo is that melee range is death so your shooting from distance, they actually have to deal with serious recoil not being super soldiers. And one hit from plasma anything more serious than glancing and their done. So alot of hunkering behind cover trying to force the aliens to fear their own deaths too much to take careful aim. All together and a marine squad can win and convincingly but every fight is a coin flip to be weighted one way or another by factors like who spotted who first.
It also feels like a real military shooter now. I never knew I needed a sci-fi squad based kind of realistic military shooter. And my god did it fill a gap
Every time I go back to replay any Halo Campaign I resent how disconnected I feel from the marines I come across during missions. How apathetic the chief, let alone their own squad mates seems to be towards the loss of life. I’ll finish an awesome fight and realize I don’t see one or two of the marines that were with me moments ago, just to find they died some easily avoidable death in vain because I dared look away for a moment. It’s the same feeling as finding a dead bug glued to the bottom of your shoe, and it really spoils the whole “saving humanity/the universe” fantasy. FPS RTS/squad tactics gameplay is the untapped future of Halo campaign gameplay. Difficulty that can become crippling if you don’t keep the marines and their armaments in fighting condition.
It's even worse if you're slow or playing on high difficulty. If all or most of the squad gets wiped out, Cortana will call for reinforcements in the most "bored customer service rep" tone. A dozen people just DIED and she sounds like a jaded diner waitress calling out an order barely loud enough for the cook to hear.
Reminder that the sole reason we start the real campaign alone on Halo is because the marines ai pathfinding allways did let them fall down that bridge over that cliff so they were forced to cut that part and let them all die on the drop.
@@GLDarknight I feel like Captain Cutter would have done much better than Keys in this regard as we've seen in two games, when the odds are against him he still comes out ontop.
It’s like if the Pillar of Autumn was a supercarrier instead of a light cruiser. Being able to deploy much more marines, vehicles, combat support, etc.
I'm praying to see more campaign levels of this mod. It's absolutely fantastic and really emphasizes the camaraderie you want to have with the marines.
This is interesting, though I wish the Zealot charged you from the start, instead of waiting, or had an overshield(the huge distance means you can get too many early shots on him). Because it's kind of lame he's supposed to be the villain, but just stands there at the end, and only moved when everyone else died, meaning it's incredibly easy for all 8 guns now pointing at him to riddle him with bullets, basically making him less of a threat than the grunts he had with him, cause at least those could actually hurt you. He should've been leading the attack, rushing in from the start. You'd have to focus fire on him, which would leave you open to plasma fire from his squad. But if you focus on the squad instead, you'd now have a Zealot in your face. It'd put the player in a more risky situation, and make the Zealot an actual threat.
Definitely. I played this on normal which defo makes the fight shorter, that being said though he still doesn’t really charge until the squad infront falls
I think part of it's cover, or lack therof. Part of the challenge of fighting elites is that they have the same shields you have and need the same sustained fire that the covenant need to take you down to take them down. Throw in a couple space crates for the elites in the fight to duck behind and that'll make them as challenging as they were supposed to be in the first place. Maybe have the marines kick them off the side of the platform in the cutscene to explain their absence later.
Better with Friends is the definitive way of Halo. It is that good. I cannot praise it enough. It is peak gaming experience. I gave all of my steam points to creator of the mod, and we should encourage him to complete the full campaign. I would pay for this mod
This is part of the reason why I like the idea of Halo mods in Arma, at least the content on youtube around that. The mods could use a lot more work, because they are a bit rough and there is still so much unrealized potential there, but it's interesting if you like milsim stuff and Halo. It just seems like a really good match to me. I don't think I would ever be able to find 100 players that are willing to follow orders or cooperate or take it semi-seriously, but at least some people can do that and then put it on UA-cam.
After the disappointment of the halo tv show, I decided to make a storyboard of how I would faithfully recreate halo ce for tv. One change I made was there would be a greater prescience with marines supporting chief throughout the campaign as it doesn't really make sense why he wouldn't have support with him. Like in Silent Cartographer, why not have way more pelicans and marines try to secure the map room so we deny the covenant that asset? Anyways. This was an amazing showcase ❤
I’ve always loved the marines setting up perimeters and doing non combat things. Like in Metropolis H2 you see them already set up defending that building before the scarab comes.
I went from "Who is this goober on my recommended?" to "I'mma sub, this guy's good at getting straight to the point and keeping me entertained. Plus, new mod to sub to on Halo." So, glad I found ya! You deserve more views, man.
In the Halo novelization and the game Fireteam Raven, this modded story wouldn’t be too far off. The crew from the Pillar of Autumn and a team of ODSTs setup a firebase with a few hundred strong doing missions all over the ring, but a team of special ops Sangheili attack the base looking for Chief. The flood also contributed to the destruction. It’s just cool to see what the game truly would’ve been like, and just like in Halo CE and the book - saving those Marines in the early levels would’ve contributed to having more teammates on Halo.
great comment, i totally am with you re fireteam raven, albeit im very behind on the novels! the idea of saving marines is almost magical. im obsessed with the world building provided by this mod
This is what should have happened in halo infinite. You rebuild the UNSC and launch a literal shock and awe campaign with the remnants of the infinity on Escharum's compound.
That whole mission is so epic now. I love the first room, shows the world is alive and conflict happens even without the player. And the first ground area where you meet fire team Zulu being covered with boulders and trees is such a cool snow forest vibe
After playing this game, I felt that I need a realistic halo. Just imagine an insurgency2/project reality mixture game but with Halo assets. A man can dream right
Lots of my home friends are asking me to buy! I don’t know a thing about the franchise but the gameplay reveal trailer looks gritty. I definitely want to play it
Congrats on the pc!!!! You won’t regret it. If you’re newer to PCs (forgive me if you know this), the steam workshop is a great place to find mods like this. The link to this particular mod is in the description but you’ll see on the workshop page theres so many cool things to try for MCC
Yes! The handful of scenes in Halo CE where you actually have marines around you are pretty great and make you feel like you are part of a military force. It sucks that there wasn't much of that going on originally.
Honestly I understand the vision and timelines were way smaller 23 years ago so I get it, but will be so cool to see something like this in future releases, I think this modder really showed how worthwhile this type of narrative and gameplay is
@@jeemojay I’m young and I have a disorder so my paranoia issues are worse than the average person (debatably) so my fear of being alone and especially in the dark transfers over to games so even in the middle of the day I will refuse to replay even broad daylight missions with nothing actually chasing me because of my fear or even just a section with a single scary aspect to it like Baker hallucinating Leggett in the crawl space in the hospital mission in Brothers in Arms Hell’s Highway or the first half of Dead Money in Fallout New Vegas. I’d play it with the OWB radio station playing for my sanity and just rush it on console. Nowadays I’m on PC though so I’ve got mods and console commands to make dark and scary games less terrifying and more fun. Anything with a creepy haunted atmosphere I will shy away from like a dog. The Frontier (*throws up a little*) had a normal dev make a genuinely scary dungeon with a heartbeat effect that was very accurate to the fear I was feeling. Skyrim’s Clockwork Castle mod has the opening with the invincible and scripted ghost in the tunnels, I was terrified the first time on Xbox. I actually Fus Roh Dah’d on instinct processing the sight of the La Llorona style model and it actually made me feel a bit better before having it surprise me while fighting skeletons and chase me for miles with the terrifying sound effects playing. For Leggett I actually had the MP40 out while crouching so it tricked me into wasting ammo on it and alerting the Germans in the next room that are supposed to just be chilling so it seemed like they just showed up.
Its a childhood dream to have these large scale fights and constant companions throughout the missions. I would absolutely adore to see the Dev do the first 3 missions and on top of these. Just imagine what he could do with Truth and Reconciliation let alone the second or first missions
Would love to have something like this for Halo 3. Imagine Chief evacuating Crows Nest with a group fleeing to the elevator, he’d throw down a bubble shield protecting all on the lift. In the garage, there could be more troop transports with maybe an elephant turned mobile hospital for the injured. At the highway, could maybe have some crashed ship filling the gap the marines would’ve had to jump. For Cortana, i’d toss in ODSTs with Flamethrowers or maybe reach into some of the “old” (timeline wise) equipment and bust out some Cylops with heavy flamers. So during the escape it could be a defense while charges are set to collapse the biomass giving you a window to flee with your allies using two pelicans instead of one.
In conjunction with the altered battle mod where Marines in Halo CE actually have identifiable health, armor that has shield charging that is slower than Chief's, can melee, can use health packs when you use one, and can fire accurately within better timed bursts, this will go hand in hand for what will feel like true massive scuffles
It’s amazing because it still keeps the level, just adds so much depth. And also manages to make the narrative exciting whilst still consistent. Definitely download this mod if you can
Man I can now relive those fighting the Flood with a group instead of alone. I used to love Freedom Fighters because of having a squad members as a feature at the same time I used to edit my Jedi Knights Jedi Academy save-games and spawn lots of units.
the best part is how 'simple' it may be vs other mods but it ends up rewriting narrative so nicely, not to mention the large scale fights. im so impressed with it
These guys don’t mess around! Genuinely this modder did amazing with the pathing and changing up some of the behaviours. Much more grouped and really opening up areas for you instead of following
My favorite fact about this game is the reason why on the mission halo all the marines are dead is because during programming the marine A.I just kept walking off that bridge so they decided to leave them dead so players didn’t notice the bad A.I pathing
When i was young i always felt Halo CE was kinda empty and when i learned about Halo lore like decade later i understood why. If they really do a CE remake i wish they really manage to represent that feeling of the UNSC really being there on the ring
If you play MCC on pc, give it a try! This modder did an excellent job. He also has the silent cartographer developed and ready in the mod, but I’m wondering if they’re working on more
I would love this mod for some sections of halo 2 and 3, as they have way more resources at their disposal. In CE it’s just the pillar of autumn. But yeah this is still cool
Imagine playing this with the mod that turns you and coop players into marines. That'd probably just make it a full-on fighting force of sorts for plenty of immersion.
In the book. Halo: The Flood. I think it was 3 ODST Companies that were present on the Autumn. They all dropped onto the ring and fought and established a Forward Operating Base. They also had several naval crew whether doctors, mechanics, Pilots and somewhat logistics. They would make a charge to the crashed Pillar Of Autumn to retrieve more supplies. They would have constant action. I believe there were only 3 Pelicans Echo 419 as we all know, a Pilot that had helped the covenant. He was offered safety before the Elite killed him when arriving at the FOB and I think the third Pilot was shot down. They would also encounter the Flood for the first time, meeting the Infected Private Jenkins and capturing him. They would fight against the Flood and Covenant and made a push to the Truth and Reconciliation. An ODST Lieutenant (McKay) after knowing there was still flood on the ship and that the Major wanted to bring the Covenant ship, filled with flood to Earth blew up the vessel. Preventing the Flood coming to Earth for at least another year at best.
@ Halo: The Flood is a good book. It gives the Master Chief a lot of emotion as well as insight on other characters. You even get a great perspective from the Covenant as well. Halo: First Strike is action packed spread by hope and dread. Halo: Ghost of Onyx gives a lot of emotion in the understanding of the Spartan 3s. Hell to be honest, even shed a tear. Emotional.

I used to keep the Johnson squad alive all the way until I got to the stacker squad and have them all battle the last wave of enemies by themselves while I watched. Now you’re telling me I get to have that experience for the entire mission? Sign me up!!
@jeemojay maybe they'll give us another ODST spinoff that's more similar to the SOCOM games of old. Since you're not a spartan you need to be using stealth to survive. Another spin-off game I want is a Survival Horror game with you up against the flood. You're trapped on an infected ship with your ODST buddies getting picked off one by one while you're trying to make your way to an escape pod.
I’m not sure about the PC version but on console if you eliminate every enemy in each section, the marines from the first canyon will follow you until they’re scripted to stay behind and Cortana will radio the marines to hold the door before you go off on your own. As you progress she contacts a pelican (don’t remember if it’s Foehammer) and when you get to the bridge you can see the pelican evac-ing the marines. I never knew that was possible lol or if it ever was on the first Xbox
Wow I don’t remember seeing the pelican evac! I just remember staring through the glass on the bridge and seeing them doing their default squad animations a million feet below 😂
It felt like stepping into a different universe with those big battles in h3. Sometimes dozens of marines and so many vehicles on screen at one time, I’ll never forget

One change I made was there would be a greater prescience with marines supporting chief throughout the campaign as it doesn't really make sense why he wouldn't have support with him. Like in Silent Cartographer, why not have way more pelicans and marines try to secure the map room so we deny the covenant that asset? Anyways. This was an amazing showcase ❤
great storyboard concept!! and thanks so much for the feedback
They shoulda recreated the game into tv form like the last of us
Absolutely agree! Idk why its so hard for film studios to do that!
this is the chef's kiss to the concept art and boxart!
Oh yep!
I’ve always loved the marines setting up perimeters and doing non combat things. Like in Metropolis H2 you see them already set up defending that building before the scarab comes.
It lets you know something crazy is about to happen 99% of the time when you see that behaviour
I went from "Who is this goober on my recommended?" to "I'mma sub, this guy's good at getting straight to the point and keeping me entertained. Plus, new mod to sub to on Halo." So, glad I found ya! You deserve more views, man.
I’m 100% deserving of the goober title not to worry 🥇thanks for the sub and the feedback!
I love fighting with tons of marines together because of their funny voice lines and they also crack weird jokes if you notice
It’s one of the coolest, yet most indescribable feelings 💪 and they have some of the funniest jokes
Lore accurate Battle for Installation 04
oh absolutely
This is what should have happened in halo infinite. You rebuild the UNSC and launch a literal shock and awe campaign with the remnants of the infinity on Escharum's compound.
I wish the execution of that was how you describe, would have been so cool
That whole mission is so epic now. I love the first room, shows the world is alive and conflict happens even without the player.
And the first ground area where you meet fire team Zulu being covered with boulders and trees is such a cool snow forest vibe
this mod totally makes the world alive. i cannot stop playing it
Literally the mod I’ve always wanted. I would even be happy with the reach style squad ai system.
It’s literally perfection. I can’t get over this mod
This mod is lore friendly because the marines were actually at the advantage in the halo ring.
This feels like if Fireteam Raven actually did get to go with Master Chief throughout the whole campaign
Exactly! Narrative wise it fits
He is the Master Chief so ofc it would makes sense for him to lead an army
After playing this game, I felt that I need a realistic halo. Just imagine an insurgency2/project reality mixture game but with Halo assets. A man can dream right
This is how AOTCR was always meant to be in my mind.
So happy this mod exists.
Beautiful mod. I've replayed it twice in the last few weeks
I’ve been playing Space Marine 2 and it’s such a nice difference from Halo always having your homies backing you up.
Lots of my home friends are asking me to buy! I don’t know a thing about the franchise but the gameplay reveal trailer looks gritty. I definitely want to play it
5:36 is just like the scene in halo 2 on the last mission this is awesome
Right? I played it on normal so the fight in the video is easier but it scales to be much harder on higher difficulty!
@@jeemojay I’m getting my pc today so this gon be the first thing I download
Congrats on the pc!!!! You won’t regret it. If you’re newer to PCs (forgive me if you know this), the steam workshop is a great place to find mods like this. The link to this particular mod is in the description but you’ll see on the workshop page theres so many cool things to try for MCC
@@jeemojay sweet thanks 🥳💯💯🪖🎥
Yes! The handful of scenes in Halo CE where you actually have marines around you are pretty great and make you feel like you are part of a military force. It sucks that there wasn't much of that going on originally.
Honestly I understand the vision and timelines were way smaller 23 years ago so I get it, but will be so cool to see something like this in future releases, I think this modder really showed how worthwhile this type of narrative and gameplay is
@@jeemojayYes. I agree. :)
Better with friends is awesome
It’s one of my favourites for sure
I love games like this especially in a game like Halo where you are alone and terrified most of the time
Definitely gives some comfort!
This modder is seriously talented, no doubt about it 🫡
Would love to have something like this for Halo 3.
The opportunities are endless! This mod genuinely is such a world building goldmine
What i wanted since i was a kid, but to say its canon is crazy LMAO the marines at hand were whatever remained of a single ship after crashing
Head canon!!!!!!!! For me and my eyes only!!!!! Master chief is my saviour!
Basically first person halo wars.
We can only dream!!!
If that mod is a thing, I’ll definitely have to check it out ☀️
0:48 THIS DIALOGUE IS INSPIRATIONAL
Confirmed deeper sgt Johnson lore than we ever imagined, 10/10
Damn made one of my favorite levels as a kid even better
It’s amazing because it still keeps the level, just adds so much depth. And also manages to make the narrative exciting whilst still consistent. Definitely download this mod if you can
At 6:05 when they’re mowing them down I just imagine hearing Gunnery Sergeant Hartman’s voice saying “ pickem up and settem down Pyle! “
😂😂😂😂 totally see the vision
Man I can now relive those fighting the Flood with a group instead of alone. I used to love Freedom Fighters because of having a squad members as a feature at the same time I used to edit my Jedi Knights Jedi Academy save-games and spawn lots of units.
I never played Jedi academy! Always wanted to, might have to pick it up soon
Very cool simple little mod. I just love marines, and having them be more around and doing more cool shit feels dang good.
the best part is how 'simple' it may be vs other mods but it ends up rewriting narrative so nicely, not to mention the large scale fights. im so impressed with it
I always knew this was possible and this Modder vindicated my wildest dreams about what Combat Evolved could be!! This is amazing work.
he deserves all the support!!
This looks like an insane mod! Big ups to this mod and the creator!
They’ve done such a good job!
I love how the marines was stepping straight to business when Cortana yelled; telling them to hurry up & leave!
These guys don’t mess around! Genuinely this modder did amazing with the pathing and changing up some of the behaviours. Much more grouped and really opening up areas for you instead of following
@@jeemojay you are definitely right man. Thank you for posting it! Keep up the amazing work yourself.
My favorite fact about this game is the reason why on the mission halo all the marines are dead is because during programming the marine A.I just kept walking off that bridge so they decided to leave them dead so players didn’t notice the bad A.I pathing
honestly so funny how they circumvented all of that by making that intro solo lol
When i was young i always felt Halo CE was kinda empty and when i learned about Halo lore like decade later i understood why. If they really do a CE remake i wish they really manage to represent that feeling of the UNSC really being there on the ring
Fingers crossed we see this in a potential remake ☝️
this is the halo I always wanted to experience. like it never made sense for the marines to be effectively nothing in the story.
Definitely download it if you have access to hcc on pc! You won’t be disappointed
I used to always do my best to keep all the npcs alive because I liked at atmosphere of other people so this mod is amazing to me
It’s such a cool feeling keeping them alive! I’d always restart from saved checkpoint if I messed up
This really what halo was in the trailers and books
Truly is!
This was awesome to see. Would be nice to see this for the other levels in the campaign . good work…
If you play MCC on pc, give it a try! This modder did an excellent job. He also has the silent cartographer developed and ready in the mod, but I’m wondering if they’re working on more
Great showcase! The mix of gameplay and commentary kept me interested throughout the video.Definitely earned you a subscriber.
Thank you! Really appreciate the feedback, I’m newer at this
I would love this mod for some sections of halo 2 and 3, as they have way more resources at their disposal. In CE it’s just the pillar of autumn. But yeah this is still cool
Agreed!
This would be so neat in Helldivers.
Another game I'm yet to play! Gotta try it
Imagine playing this with the mod that turns you and coop players into marines. That'd probably just make it a full-on fighting force of sorts for plenty of immersion.
i am praying that happens in an upcoming halo. would be SUCH good use of a second player etc.
Awesome story, I’ve got to get a copy and read this asap
@ Halo: The Flood is a good book. It gives the Master Chief a lot of emotion as well as insight on other characters. You even get a great perspective from the Covenant as well. Halo: First Strike is action packed spread by hope and dread. Halo: Ghost of Onyx gives a lot of emotion in the understanding of the Spartan 3s. Hell to be honest, even shed a tear. Emotional.
Say what you will about UA-cam but I have been finding so many smaller creators latley, great video! definitely gonna check this mod out
@@tommelling9847 glad you’ve enjoyed! Have posted another mod overview as my latest video (about to be superseded by another in a couple of hours 😅), so many cool CE mods to be discovered and such little time
"What would happen if Chief had an entire army at his disposal?" Going by my experiences on Legendary ... they all die, no matter what I do.
Considering I died 15 times on the dual bridge section at the end of this level on vanilla legendary on thanksgiving with my sister, 100% agree
0:50 I like how Cortana’s voice line is an error for the line not being found
hahaha a couple of those pop up when theres altered dialogue, i wonder if its hard to fix that with engine limitations or not but i noticed it a couple of times in the mod
Love this mod. I spend the whole campaign finding ways to let my allies do the fighting for me.
Which ends up being alot of charge forward to make them follow me, then run backward into cover.
It’s such a satisfying feeling being part of big AI battles, it’s unexplainable
Hey glad you made a video that got some good views, i've been singing this mod's praises for a while now. The dev is on a break right now hes busy but I really await the next chapters
check out ruby's rebalanced as well, a lot more conservative but all the stuff he's added is great, my favorite is the new content of silent cartographer and two betrayals.
I didn’t want to bug him but left a comment on his steam workshop page saying I loved the mod! Thanks for the update because I hadn’t heard about his break, lots of people are asking here if there’s gunna be more. Regarding rubys I’ve got it downloaded and I’ve played a level or two but need to play the full thing hopefully this weekend. It seems so highly rated
This is the little child in me’s dream
@@Crixus36 23 years after launch, it’s still everything I’ve ever wanted! I played some more this morning despite the mod only including two levels for now. So much fun
I used to keep the Johnson squad alive all the way until I got to the stacker squad and have them all battle the last wave of enemies by themselves while I watched.
Now you’re telling me I get to have that experience for the entire mission? Sign me up!!
@Crixus36 the MOST fulfilling feeling possible!!
A squad based halo game with you commanding the soldiers would be sick
I'm praying they have this mechanic in an upcoming release, even in a particular level or just a small section
Survival horror would be 🔥!
Halo but Keys pulled a Keys and safely deployed the entire autumn's complement. [The future Arbiter was indeed, blinded, paralysed, and awestruck'd]
hahahahaha pulled a keys is my new go-to phrase
" Sir, those humans just pulled a Keys."
"Not again."
Somewhere during the battle of Earth
This thing isn’t a cudgel, you barbarian.
“Jeez cortana. I let you out for once and you roast me”
She absolutely NUKED him here
everyone forget about pillar of autumn army.
Never forget the pillar of autumn fellas 🫡
Only thing that could make it better is for the Gold Elite to be struggling towards the Chief and then seeing Cortana before he died.
Oh I can picture that totally. It’s brutal to do custom cutscenes in halo CE apparently but I’d be over the moon if that was there
This really is an assult on the control room, wow great stuff team.
such a great mod by a smart dev
This is how halo should have been I always wanted a halo game with the full might of the unsc
precisely! i hope in the future we get something official that demonstrates the full scale of the UNSC like Halo Wars does, but as an FPS
This is feels better than Halo 3, The Covenant.
The game always felt better when you were part of a squad.
Feels so huge this way 🫡
Yeah this was sick to see. Needed more like this when we kinda had this in H3 preparing the Marines to fight
It felt like stepping into a different universe with those big battles in h3. Sometimes dozens of marines and so many vehicles on screen at one time, I’ll never forget
@@jeemojay this the direction halo should've kept especially when infinite came out not really any human covenant battles or large scale air to ground battle like we saw in reach and H3 like I really wanted to see a banished scarab battle you know??
Army ❌ Marine Corps Battalion ✅🤓☝
Someone get this man a medal for his commitment to uphold the values of the UNSC in the year 2552 🥇
There needs to be a halo game based on this concept it's like a mix of halo wars and halos fps
It’s perfect! I really hope we get something massive scale one day
We need more mods like this
Steam workshop is full of stuff just like this!!
If the game was more in line with the novelization
Exactly!
Squad based tactics? In Halo CE?! I just drooled on my keyboard a bit.
Clean that keyboard up so you can search for the mod and download it!
To be honest, the anniversary edition should have done this and much more improvements to the game.
I agree it would have been nice to see a remake of these things rather instead of a straight up remaster, but if these leaks are true… I think we’re gunna get lucky with some upcoming title(s) 👀
Halo, but we brought the whole family
Ha! 😂
In this timeline the guys at Reach turn it into a full Covenant route and kick them all the way to 04
hahahahaha i like the sound of that timeline
Feels like a first person Halo Wars
One can dream of that as a game!!
If the pillar of Autumn used its Canon complement.
If only!!!!
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN WITH REACH! AN ENTIRE UNSC PLANET HAS GOT TO OFFER MORE IN TERMS OF SUPPORT FOR NOBLE TEAM THAN WHAT WE SAW
🫡
The Human-Covenant War if humanity had shields on their ships
@@AnEruditeWolf I like that alternative 🫡
Halo CE if another UNSC vessel crash-landed on the ring.
hahahaha what are the chances of a few other frigates crashing 😂
Halo if it was more accurate to real life.
Truly 🫡
I honestly loved the missions with marines following me
It’s honestly such a cool feeling leading them and making sure they survive across all the halo games where you get to do this
This makes me want a “battle front halo” or Enemy Territory: Halo. Imagine a 64 v 64 halo battle.
Oh man that would be nuts. Slightly unrelated, but imagine 128 players on blood gulch….
Only Halo 1 Marines would be capable of such a feat.
the strongest men, we don't deserve them
The golden elite is MrTwinkles. My brother and I would play this level and play tag with him for hours
My heart goes out to MrTwinkles for the death he suffered in this video 🫡🫡🫡🫡🫡
What an upgrade,thanks.
Great mod from an awesome developer, they did an excellent job
I loved fighting with the marines. However, fighting with them always gave me panic attacks as a kid, always trying to save all of them.
I played split screen with my sister yesterday and had to kept returning to last checkpoint each time I’d lose an elite in halo 2, it was difficult to be honest and explain why I was doing that 😂
DOPE mods making my child dreams real...
Try this out if you haven’t yet!
