Dutch guitar-icon Eelco Gelling ( Cuby + Blizzards) tells us about his love for the blues, the inspiration he gots from John Lee Hooker. Interview was done just before he was given a space in the Dutch Blues Hall of Fame, a reward annually given to a blues-musician by the Dutch Blues Foundation.

Zijn woorden krijgen misschien wel des te meer zeggingskracht door hoe breekbaar en broos hij oogt. Zo beeldend als hij spreekt over een dik 55 jaar oude LP. Wat een gevoelsmens. Ik geloof niet dat muziek nog zo'n betekenis kan hebben voor jongeren in deze tijd.
