As someone who is passionate of watercolours, I find wonder all around me. I love colours and the many watercolour palettes with so many vibrant colours, constantly draw my attention. As such, every thing I look at, I see the different colours all around me. Even in your own backyard. There is something to find wonder in every single day. I guess that's the Pisces in me. I have been a day dreamer since my early childhood. It was always in my report cards. Liz needs to focus more and stop daydreaming. I love the fantasy movies that are constantly coming out. I loooved the Harry Potter and The Lord of the Rings movies. They sent my head into another world altogether. I purposely look for those kinds of films. I am still like a little child when new things come out. Never stop looking for the wonder in the world.
❤️thank you Alex for this interview with Jeffery. Alex… I have God on speed dial. I’m going to put in a request to get Spielberg on your podcast. He’ll make him an offer he can’t refuse.
Back in the 60s the prophets of chemically induced instant wonder abounded. Terence McKenna was into "heroic doses." The music of the era reflected the attitude of the young: "Just ask Alice," "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, etc." Aldous Huxley took a dose of LSD on his deathbed. Alan Watts book "The Joyous Cosmology" was about his LSD experience..
On the cover of my meditation journal I wrote a little play on words that are personally meaningful: "Wonder and Wander". I am a life-long learner, always curious, constantly seeking more knowledge, insight, or new perspective on whatever the the topic I am led to each day. I have never lost my sense of wonder. Wander relates to my love for traveling, learning what books and schooling cannot teach, meeting new people, making friends in different cultures, seeing the beauty of our planet, having great adventures, and making incredible memories. This all triggers more wonder! Thus these two words, which sound so much alike, are cyclical! My autobiography, at age 54, wouldn't be just one book. It would in reality be written as an epic series! And I'm not near finished yet! The bucket list is a book in itself!
I don’t now how this happened. I was just thinking this morning. What happened to the magic? My to do list will get done but where is the fun and magic. This video is like a breath of fresh air. ❤
Yes yes yes! All makes perfect sense! When I started my path of spiritual awakening last year the first thing I learned was to get in touch/remember your inner child. And as we are creators within our own creation, co-creating with Source... who was the one that experienced life with awe, excitement, vivid imaginations and wonder....none other then our inner child! Non-conformed, no societal box....just pure wonder and amazement for the world around them....learning and creating in joy every single day! ❤️❤️
Alex… great show as always! There is a UA-cam video where Paul McCartney describes his creative process called “Chaos and Creation” where he describes how he goes about making a song. There are others as well where he’s emphatic that there are no rules! He’ll say that he’ll stick lyrics that makes no sense at all… but keep the flow going. One great example is how “Yesterday” started out as “Scrambled Eggs”. I’ve done the same thing (in a sense) with the creation of my own music. Many times I’ll go for a walk and do a kind of ‘air drumming’ (sort of like air guitaring) just to get some rhythm idea out. After a little bit, I’ll do the air guitar… then the voices etc. I don’t know what key I’m in… and I don’t care! During my walk I’m not limited by my lack of playing ability… or whatever. And in the end, the love you (kidding …but not really!) put in to just BE-ing in whatever happens during that walk ends up being the energy that carries me through the time of making that song/creation. If I don’t know how to complete the song… or I’m having a tough time with the song that got started, I go back to that walk time and rev myself up again. It works! It’s funny because most of my best stuff came from when I was away from the instruments! :)
I dismiss many business ideas that comes to me and allow fear to take over of the challenges that I might have to face but after listening to this sharing, it made me realise that it's part and parcel of business. Challenges only makes a person better at what they do and helps them in personal growth. The bigger you wonder, the greater the challenge! Thank you 🙏
WONDERFUL discussion! I love this topic, as it resonates with my feelings of curiosity and development of creative desire. This is also bringing to mind my progressive path of discovering my unique personality and becoming truly fascinated with my soul's energy and falling in love with myself as I realize how loved we all are by our Creator. We are truly fascinating beings and when we become aware of ourselves we begin to live a blissful life.
Beautifully said ... for this old 73 Rockin Daddy I find the Journey of falling in Love with my Self the Hardest part .... letting go of the Shame and Embarrassment I have felt at times for simply BEING me ..... but Knowing we truly are Eternal Being's and that our Creator LOVES US beyond any human understanding makes me continue to move Forward within and in this difficult world .... Peace and Love to you .... Roy from Canada

Alex, I can’t help it to tell you that your picture looks like Andrea Bocelli.
I would love to share what causes someone to lose all hope after trauma. I can probably offer at least 1,000 more fairly quickly.😔
