Perfectly happy with the booster boxes of the Japanese version Terestal Festival. that I ordered. Paid less for 2 boxes than the prices they are asking for 1 Prismatic Evolutions Etb.
My LGS let me preorder prismatic for $55... and then you have Safari Zone AND Forge listing at $100. Great job you just tarnished your reputation for a few thousand $s. Great business they're running.
I had to order mine the first week of November, but I got bundles of waive 1 products (1 of each) at MSRP. And the shop gave fair warning that once the bundles ran out they would be charging closer to market price. If I had known everyone was gonna charge that much, I would have ordered more at that time, but I was waiting on another store I have store credit with to drop product so I wouldn’t have to spend any more actual money.
My LGS was able to get 2 PC ETB's and they're saving one for me for $75. A little more expense than Pokemon Center, but still a fair price considering market is around $400 right now!
Idk what’s happening where I am but I haven’t been able to find much reasonably priced surging sparks so I wonder if that’s not helping this situation.
LGS and LCS are selling preorders at market prices driving the preorder prices up. These LGS and LCS stores are scalping, it needs to stop. Its ridiculous that they are charging double what the product should be and they dont even have the product yet.
Prismatic Evolution prices will crash after release. They wont crash to nothing but the prices will come down to normal. every card will fall to normal price also.
Not sure how these vendors can even list these items (booster bundle at least 3 months before release) with no numbers for allocation. Then, they go and cancel them citing don't have the stock and increase the price to match the secondary marketplace.
Agreed. Who are these people paying 3x retail on a product that isn't even released yet? These people are creating a false market on this set. Don't FOMO people.
Scalpers collectors tcg shop all the same buy low sell high. But shops that came in after covid are the worst they buy from distributors and sell like secondary market and they keep so much sealed to sell later on because they see the value. Gotta catch them all I guess
joshs card released there pre orders pretty high above MSRP. It wasn't even reasonable prices. Sucks. So many people getting exposed over a couple more dollars it's just dumb.
Ever since people began satung that pokemon cards are good investments all these scalpers just show up and take the product away from the normal people just trying to collect and comolete a set
Scalping isn’t possible if no one pays the higher prices. We aren’t talking about food and shelter. These are Pokemon cards. You don’t need them. Supply and demand people. If demand goes down, prices go down. Stores SHOULD charge higher prices if they have people that will pay them. Otherwise you’re just good hearted idiots that will eventually go out of business because you’re too stupid to keep up with the market.
Sure, no one needs Pokémon cards, but brushing off concerns like this misses the bigger picture. Scalping takes advantage of passionate fans and creates an unfair market, which ultimately hurts the hobby and erodes trust in the community. Fair pricing isn’t about being naive-it’s about keeping the market healthy and sustainable for everyone in the long run. From a business perspective, alienating your core customer base for short-term gains is a risky strategy. Loyal customers are what keep businesses thriving over time
It may erode some trust, but the only thing scalping takes advantage of is the level of demand (which includes passionate fans). I think Pokemon has been around long enough to withstand bad actors. Also, how are these rip n ship UA-camrs any different from scalpers? You pay enormous prices for packs on live streams while UA-camrs rip thousands of packs a day, substantially decreasing supply for all those passionate fans they pretend to care so deeply about.
Yea thats so crazy that secondary market stores are selling product for what its selling for every day on the secondary market. Really mindblowing, shame on the LGS’s that are following the rules of economics.
Back in 2017 and the beginning of 2020 why can't pokemon products be sold at retail at shops websites and people that sell them oh wait that's because of inflation whihch is stupid as hell. what happen to the fun times of hobby collection and open the card, not just trying to sell them MSRP sigh....and just found out terastal festive is gonna be stop printing in the japan because of the value of the cards and how hype it is ugh..stupid Inflation
@DrApplesauceTwo No, a market decides a price and it's been decided. Telling people to not buy it or blacklist stores that are selling at the accepted price is ridiculous. One less subscriber for you. Bye Timmy
He clearly doesn’t understand the idea of derivatives in finance. People sell stuff they don’t have all the time. Totally agree with you by the way… this is all just simple supply and demand economics. People are just mad they can’t get super cheap cards anymore. It’s fine to whine…but there’s simply no widespread foul play here.
How can it be supply and demand economics when there’s literally zero supply been released into the market to accurately gauge demand? This is manipulation on a large scale, based on customers fomo, and EVERY store doing it knows that the product will be plentiful and readily available at a later date, based on many years of release history. Advocating for this, is tantamount to agreeing with false markets being propped up when the actual supply isn’t proven yet. If you’re in favor of that, just say so rather than hiding behind a veil of entitlement as if you know more than everyone else. We’ve seen this in that past with previous sets, and all of those sets were available later for reasonable prices. The same stores doing it AGAIN, knowing the prices are wack and will dip, is textbook exploitation of uninformed customers. Is it legal? Sure. Is it right? No.
People are always so greedy around the holidays lol
no joke lol
The trap of avarice
@@Haures-nd9ej I learned a new word today 😆. Thanks
Not really, they just understand economics. How is that greedy?

Where did you buy ? I want ti buy some japanes boxes
@@superkoala2407 PokeNe Prices now on the boxes is around $80.00 Usd.
I'm glad I came across this when I did, and thank you for sharing this. It's very helpful to know, and yeah, I'll wait.
No problem. Just trying to help!
Don't wait. How do you think the people that said that for surging are feeling?
Never forget the stores/sellers that screw you over. These are the stores that will go outa business.
Times like this happen I never forget the names of the stores because when they sell at MSRP during normal times, I won’t give them business
“They’re smoking […] (stops crashing out)” lol
I caught myself 😂😂😂
I love this hobby!!!!!
There was a website pre-selling Scarlet & Violet 9 with NO TITLE or picture!!! And it sold out!!! 😂😂
My LGS let me preorder prismatic for $55... and then you have Safari Zone AND Forge listing at $100. Great job you just tarnished your reputation for a few thousand $s. Great business they're running.
DANG safari zone? I did NOT expect that from them. I went and looked and didn’t see it on their site
My local game stores are scalping too, I take my business elsewhere or buy only when price is reasonable
Man that sucks
@@AccesAce it's not scalping. They are selling at the market price. Perfectly acceptable.

Dude that’s like $5 for than PC after taxes. Great deal
You have to look at what they’re paying distribution too because distribution also ups their prices
Forge and fire is not only doing that but also taking pre orders at MSRP for next two sets. It's crazy
WILD lol

So basically every card shop
Im just gonna be buying singles off this set.
Hey looking great and in great form too always happy to see you in a jolly mood ❤❤❤
Always!
In USA you re good man😂
Here in Europe, personally,i doubt i ll open a single booster from PE.
I am immune to FOMO. IM BROKE 😂
Prismatic Evolution prices will crash after release. They wont crash to nothing but the prices will come down to normal. every card will fall to normal price also.
I fully agree that no one should be paying above MSRP. But I am curious about your thoughts on this in relation to something like the 151 ETB?
That product has been out for well over a year
And has plenty of time to establish a market value.
@ fair enough! Thanks!
Not sure how these vendors can even list these items (booster bundle at least 3 months before release) with no numbers for allocation. Then, they go and cancel them citing don't have the stock and increase the price to match the secondary marketplace.
This is terrible. I have my local LGS and other trusted sellers that are selling at least at MSRP. Yeah I am staying away from these stores.
Good, because you should!
And they say support your local card shop 🙄 support them when they scalp

Pokemon wants to make money and so does everyone else. Like you said never fomo and be patient.

What’s the difference between scalpers and investors?
Besides the amount of time they hold the product, absolutely nothing.
False

I don't think any of you understand a free market. This is the price the market has decided on, why wouldnt shops sell at market?
I don’t think you understand that THE PRODUCT ISNT EVEN OUT YET. So any “market” on it is fabricated at best
