I love how instead of drawing out more power and transforming to win, he instead concentrates on his own movements and actions and improves the way he fights. This almost seems like a better version of the actual Dragon Ball franchise.

Exploring the other side of fighting, the more fearful truth that every warrior feels while fighting, in depth gives it a more realistic approach. Watching this new bread of enemy be even more relentless and viscous, one could see the true meaning of Villain. This assault on Earth has each of The Z-Fighters fighting in a division 2 weight classes above their own for this bout. No one is safe from this onslaught. Vegeta barely gained SSj4, these guys have SSjB and SSj5 and I think one has SSj6, I really don't get how anyone but Goku or a fusion with him and Vegeta or Gohan could keep up at all lol. At least until Gohan gains his Grand Ultimate Form. In the next vid, they give Gotenks a SSj4 serum, just to wreck him shortly after to show just how powerful they are.

After rewatching episode 2, I've theorised the Saiyans from Absalon did not obtain their super saiyan forms naturally like what we've seen in Z and GT, but through the use of "strange catalysts" gotten from research and experiments.

By showing a Kenpo, Boxing, Muay Thai, and Capoeira style of combat you simultaneously show their skills and yours. Ryan Peng forms are dependent on individuals them selves. If your weaker, ssj1 form can still beat you in ssj3. It’s a power multiplier but the base power of different for everyone. In its own way Super is exciting and I do appreciate the series but it feels very rushed and there's no real ... boundary between Sagas, it's just transitioning from one situation to another with no REAL background or formidable story or plot behind it other than it just exists for entertainment. Which is okay if you just want to transition straight to the action scenes with no REAL plot behind the action.. but I severely miss DBZ's sense of urgency and the actual consequences of failure. (I mean come on... the way Goku, Trunks, and Vegeta were rescued from Zamasu and SSJR Black SCEAMED plot ploy) it's cool it's just it feels very unrealistic
It can be realistic, these guys are Space Pirates From a ultimate universe that is linear to ours like Trunks for example, KOSHO sorta resemble Vegeta just look at his hair, like a older Balder Version. The only plot hole is he is using KI that can't be detected.
This is seriously how DBZ should of progressed, amazing. if they bought this project out and made it proper with all the seasons but directed by Mellavelli then DBZ would have a come back!
I totally agree with your rendition of Gohan, this is the powerful Saiyan warrior that Gohan should be instead of the weak, pencil neck that Toriyama and crew have made him in DBS. Even better is that you are adding tremendous depth to the Saiyan mythos by introducing other Saiyan characters that were on other worlds after the destruction of Planet Vegeta..this is truly inspiring and appreciated. I have completed fan fiction that draws upon similar inspiration for DragonBall. It's called DragonBall X The Kaidokhan Saga and a sample 3 chapters is available on Scrib'd if anyone wants to read it. Love the battle analysis by Gohan. He doesnt need to transform into some higher level being; just modify his fighting technique and he can win. Too bad this isnt used too often in DBZ.
Evan Gaming Super Saiyan 5 isn't Gold. And it's not achievable by normal Saiyans. Super Saiyan 5 is basically a SSJ4 infused with the Holy Ki. That's why Cyborg was calling him weak. SSJ5 is weaker than Super Saiyan Gold. If Goku learns to master the SSJ4 transformation (Super Saiyan Gold), then infuses the Holy Ki to it, he would've been at Erion's level Goku uses the Holy Super Saiyan in the intro when fighting Broly. The one that makes his hair go white, and has tattoo-like body.

It is Super Saiyan -SSJ4. SSJ4 establishes a whole new baseline since the hair goes to black and chest fur red. Then to go SS within that new state changes hair to yellow and chest hair white. So, Augmented SSJ4.
this is how dragonball should be. i like how this is so dark, full of technique and yet in balance with the transformation. melavelli restored gohan to what he was meant to be! Hell i like this more than super.
Gohan's combat experience, expert skill, adaptability, and awesome tactical approach really shine in this episode. What I don't like is that the squid guy said that Kosho was paralyzed when he clearly was not, as he got up and transformed immediately.
Son Goku43 plot points are more explained. story has a proper flow. animation is consistent. they have (so far) not needed to rely on bull shit Deus Ex to get through anything. oh right. and villains backstory are very interesting. tell me how super is better?

You cant really say much about grades seeing as they arent even very well established in the canonical series. Most of that was established in a guide a fan made. As for comedy. Im looking at Absalon as I would a movie. A good deal of the movies arent exactly known for having comedy and tend to be mostly serious. Heck. Comparing this to the movies tends to work a lot better given it is clear that they are searching for Broly's remains.

After rewatching episode 2, I've theorised the Saiyans from Absalon did not obtain their super saiyan forms naturally like what we've seen in Z and GT, but through the use of "strange catalysts" gotten from research and experiments.

There are still flaws, and I wish you had a team, but I can say with all honesty that you have something really awesome here. I love the story thus far, but more importantly is the quality keeps getting better. Keep it up man.

Super Saiyan 4: A form where the user grows red fur and has black hair. Distinct feature is the black orange glow of the eyes. This form was used by Kosho in this episode. Also used by Captain Horenzo in episode 4.
Super Saiyan Blue: A form with god ki. Stronger than Super saiyan 4. This form was seen used by Lieutenant Karifuwara in Episode 3.
Perfect Super Saiyan 4: A form that mixes Super Saiyan 4 and Super Saiyan Blue. People that are in this form generally have blue effects when powering up. This form was seen used by Kosho at the end of the episode, and also by General Zorn, who was at the end of episode 4.
Grand Ultimate Form: Another Exclusive form of Gohan. In this form he has white hair. Possibly a mix of Mystic with God ki. Obviously stronger than Super Saiyan 4. Ryan Peng forms are dependent on individuals them selves. If your weaker, ssj1 form can still beat you in ssj3. It’s a power multiplier but the base power of different for everyone. It’s why kid buu best ssj3 goku n ssj2 vegeta so easily. His base none transformed form was stronger than their multipliers

Also I do not like how Mellavelli made Kosho possible to go Super Saiyan Gold. A Lieutenant shouldn't be on the same level as a General. He might as well should've stayed as Ascended SSJ4.

In its own way Super is exciting and I do appreciate the series but it feels very rushed and there's no real ... boundary between Sagas, it's just transitioning from one situation to another with no REAL background or formidable story or plot behind it other than it just exists for entertainment. Which is okay if you just want to transition straight to the action scenes with no REAL plot behind the action.. but I severely miss DBZ's sense of urgency and the actual consequences of failure. (I mean come on... the way Goku, Trunks, and Vegeta were rescued from Zamasu and SSJR Black SCEAMED plot ploy)

It can be realistic, these guys are Space Pirates From a ultimate universe that is linear to ours like Trunks for example, KOSHO sorta resemble Vegeta just look at his hair, like a older Balder Version. The only plot hole is he is using KI that can't be detected.

I totally agree with your rendition of Gohan, this is the powerful Saiyan warrior that Gohan should be instead of the weak, pencil neck that Toriyama and crew have made him in DBS. Even better is that you are adding tremendous depth to the Saiyan mythos by introducing other Saiyan characters that were on other worlds after the destruction of Planet Vegeta..this is truly inspiring and appreciated. I have completed fan fiction that draws upon similar inspiration for DragonBall. It's called DragonBall X The Kaidokhan Saga and a sample 3 chapters is available on Scrib'd if anyone wants to read it. The full 3015 page 40 chapter book is also available for 5 dollars if anyone is interested.

Super Saiyan 5 is basically a SSJ4 infused with the Holy Ki. That's why Cyborg was calling him weak. SSJ5 is weaker than Super Saiyan Gold. If Goku learns to master the SSJ4 transformation (Super Saiyan Gold), then infuses the Holy Ki to it, he would've been at Erion's level

It is Super Saiyan -SSJ4.
SSJ4 establishes a whole new baseline since the hair goes to black and chest fur red. Then to go SS within that new state changes hair to yellow and chest hair white. So, Augmented SSJ4.

You cant really say much about grades seeing as they arent even very well established in the canonical series. Most of that was established in a guide a fan made. As for comedy. Im looking at Absalon as I would a movie. A good deal of the movies arent exactly known for having comedy and tend to be mostly serious. Heck. Comparing this to the movies tends to work a lot better given it is clear that they are searching for Broly's remains.
