Mt. Hua (Huashan) Plank Walk

- This is a small clip of the famous plank walk on Mt. Hua, located in the Shaanxi Province of China.
The path itself is located just below the highest of the five main peaks, namely the South Peak.
It is certainly one of the most spectacular parts of what has been known as "The Most Dangerous Trail in the World" with 1km of free fall just beneath the wooden boards.
The plank walk was earlier used to reach a small plateau where one could seek forgiveness, but in the later years it has become more of a tourist attraction.
The video is filmed by the fearless Alverg.
Good video, well done mate
wow what a view
If you came for the free meal you'd be disappointed.
The plank walk ends up at a plateau with a tiny temple carved into the mountain, no more than a hole in the wall.
I was told that the temple was for seeking forgiveness.
It's a dead end, so you have to walk the plank again to get back.
I don't know which particular steps you are referring to (there are thousands), but due to the chain reaction that could occur should one fall, you could say that they're arguably more dangerous than the plank.
Non potrei mai scalare quella montagna.
Somewhere between 1pm and 1:30pm.
I saw pictures of this on tagged. It said there is a restaurant at the end where the food is free..? I would love to see more footage of getting there.. such as the "steps"
@branchy06 They sure are. Only in China...
what time of day is this?

What? I heard you had to do this without supports.... I am disappointed, this makes it far to boring now. How is it scary when your tied to the mountain?
Dette virker ganske farlig
