Fun fact for Changbin: He auditioned as a dancer, want to be a vocalist, then told to be a rapper because of the way he sings. He sings good but the vocal trainer said changbin sing like how a rapper would sing.

Changbin auditioned to JYP with a self-written rap actually. It's true that he started out as a dancer (he was even captain of his high school's dance club or something like that?) and took vocal lessons but by the time he auditioned he was alrdy rapper!! :)

Chan has an incredible voice, he raps and sings since he practiced both along with dancing ever since he joined JYP when he was just 13 years old. That's 7-8 years of training! Jisung is such a talented boy too, he is indeed our ace.
And yes, in fact they all sing and rap! If you want to know what I mean and you want to hear Changbin singing beautifully and Jisung slaying high notes I suggest listening to "Neverending Story" (heavily vocal focused song, a ballad) and for a contrast 'Maze of Memories' (heavily rap focused song, no one sings here, they all rap). If you are curious Neverending Story has a live performance, but they don't dance so you can focus on their vocals!

Fun fact about this song:
It was a predebut song that they made on their survival show. The range for this song is a woman’s range and because of that, JYP told Chan to lower it to a mans range. Chan of course didn’t listen, and their debut song(District 9) was on a higher range.

this is actually one of fave stray kids choreo (even though the mv isn't), the fact that this is basically their first project together as a 9, is just * chef's kiss *. chan purposely made this song in a female's tone since the group wanted to challenge themselves for their very first track together. they went through a lot, releasing this song. it's a hit and miss for some ppl but i loved it khdjdd since the track itself is so authentic and have that original skz colour. idk, i also personally really like the 'i am you' choreography, but that era is really underrated lmao and not many people hype up the softer or vocal side of stray kids. it's a shame because woojin's and skz' vocals really shines there.

Yes and this song was Minho's 1st time ever rapping!!! JYP swapped their parts around in this song during the survival show and got Minho to do this rap on the spot without any chance to practice. This was filmed very soon after that day, still during the show, I'm guessing maybe a few weeks max.

Jisung's vocal ability is crazy such a well rounded idol. I was also really impressed with Chnagbin's vocal abilities, he was on the Masked Singer and I was so impressed I had to find more of videos of his singing voice. You should watch Stray Kids "Neverending Story"! Jisung's voice was beautiful and he harmonizes with Seungmin and it was just so pleasant to listen to.
This song was actually created by them as an asignment by JYP before their debut.
They needed to do missions as a group to prove themselves worthy to debut and got several missions for several weeks, it was super intense

Changbin is always the rough hip hop grouchy voice so telling his voice will be easy once you get used to it.
Jisung is more on the lighter side but he can change how he sounds really well cuz he’s talented :)

the fact that its only their pre-debut song always mesmerized me. they have two choreo for it, one isthis and one they used for JYP's mission. JYP says this is a high-range most suitable for girls. even Jun.K of 2PM were surprise when they were about to evaluate SKZ.

It seems that you long Jisungs singing voice so much, a fun fact about their songs and how they perform them live, Jisung ended up getting most of Woojins lines. The album SKZ2020 is a re-release of most of their songs that had Woojin in them.
Before Woojin left, he did the highnotes. Now Jisung and Seungmin are doing them and SLAYING IT!!!! I think Jisung is such an talented singer and as you said, an Ace. ^^

Hellevator is a very important song for me, it was this dance practice that made me join the fandom and when I found out that it was the first song that the nine did together during the show I just fell in love even more, I still remember how much they worked hard for this. Stray Kids members are really versatile pretty much everyone can sing and rap so well. People often think Changbin and Jisung can only slay rap and Girl... just watch their Masked singer performance and a few specific verses of songs (like Never ending story, Phobia, Haven,etc) your wig will flew

Now that you know all the members watch for Jisung he sings all the time and he hits the high notes. Easy to miss if you aren't expecting it because he just had a rap line. Once you know all his voices (yes all his voices), then you'll catch him every time.

So Hellevator was the first song they made during their survival show and the mv was released before the show aired as a promo for the show.
Some fun facts: all of the vocalists were scared of the high notes so they gave it to Jisung because despite being one of the best rappers in kpop, he also has an absolutely incredible voice with a fantastic range. Also, minho originally sang in this song, but jyp asked if he could rap and he rapped on the spot and killed it so now thats why he both raps and sings in skz depending on the song. The song is in a female key and jyp told chan to change it but he never did just proving skz are the best boys.
The way that this is a predebut song and its still one of their best songs is amazing. Skz have been top tier since the beginning.
Its really amazing looking at their growth these past few years. Hellevator is all about how they will keep working to make it to the top and gods menu is about how theyre top of the game and doing things their own way. Hellevator was the predebut song as you know it dropped along with a preformace for “Grr” and “Young wings”.”Distric 9” was their debut song that two performance videos also followed, those being “Grow up” and “Mirror”. Then next comback gave two MVs for “My pace” and “Awkward Silence”. I Am: you being the next album name and title track, dropping along with a cuter MV “Get Coo”.Then we finally arrive at Miroh!!!! This dropped along with a MV for “Victory Song”. “Side effects” dropped with “TMT” which Does not have a Dance. “Double knot” was released as a single both with Korean and English MVs. Then we have The first comeback without woojin that was delayed because of reshooting for “Laventar”. Due to this “Astronaut” dropped as a single before “Laventar” was released later on. Then finally we have “God’s Menu” that dropped with “Easy”, but also a video for “Blueprint” that does not have a dance. With all of the albums a Music video for their Mixtape tracks were put out but the songs weren’t put on a album until Yellow Wood (side effects album). The Mixtapes are essentially redeveloped songs from 3racha that they made before the group existed. Stray kids have also sang multiple OST’s.
