Bull. Literally every great wildlife book I have every seen was shot below 24 MP. It may be that every great wildlife shot I've ever seen was less than 24 MP.
I can’t count the number of bird shots that I’ve taken with my R3 that I would have missed with my R5. Low light autofocus on the R3 absolutely blows the higher megapixel body out of the water. I will take a lower resolution in focus shot over a high resolution out of focus shot 100 times out of 100.
Looks like now it’s all about camera! Photographer does not have to be really good, just point and shoot. Great job Canon! All you have to have is some extra cash to buy it.

Almost got the r5, but stayed with sony since I had the glass. Both canon and sony are making amazing cameras now. Keep the competition coming so we all get better options.
This 30fps does not work with EF lenses. It’s maxing out at 20fps, I tried on the Canon EF 600mm 4.0 III. What a bummer, Canon. Not even a service is offered to upgrade the Canon EF 600mm 4.0 III.
@@imagesbyrina Sorry, cannot confirm this with Continuous Autofocus and a Canon 600mm 4.0 III. What would also not be a surprise as the Canon RF 600mm 4.0 is not just the EF Version with an adapter, Canon also did some changes on the electronics for enabling 30fps on this lens.
Hi, Stefan1968ful! The EOS R3 has a maximum continuous shooting speed of 30 fps when using the electronic shutter feature. Certain settings and conditions may result in a slower shooting speed and these are spelled out under the "Drive System" heading in the specifications listed at canon.us/eosr3 Hope this helps!

Looks like Canon are finally back in the game. But in the 2+ years that it took, they must have lost thousands of shooters (like me) to Sony. It's too costly to keep switching, so many will probably never return. And why did it take 30 years to re-implement eye-control autofocus? It worked pretty well in the EOS 5 and then we were robbed of it.
@@willyOAM ?? I never left Canon because my 2016 5D4 focussed very well. If you dont nail focus, your shot is toast. Only in 2020 were cameras matching the 5D4 focus.
I’d love to know the number that left. When I upgraded to the Canon 5D Mark IV back in November of 2016 it was leaps better than the crappy 5D Mark III. And at the time the Sony mirrorless wasn’t ready, IMO and for making the leap to mirrorless as a pro. As a professional photographer of over 20 years I try to get at least 4 years out of my camera bodies and sometimes more. I get that the new group of photographers get caught up in the upgrade game and I wonder if mobile phones have something to do with that. Either way when I was ready to make the leap to mirrorless the R was meh and I just waited for the R5. Couldn’t be happier and the ROI on my Mark 4 was epic. I was able to buy a full kit with cash. As a editorial photographer and weddings the 28-70 RF 2.0 paired with the R5 makes shooting exciting again. I’m not switching primes like a madman and I’m just getting so much out of that setup. One of my second shooters is leaving Sony because she sees the ease of my day with one camera in hand pretty much the entire day. Not a Canon guy but I have to agree it looks like an awesome piece of kit.Fantastic video!

That 600 looks like a missile launcher. Amazing 😀😇🔥

Try using a 600 mm for a few minutes without the use of a monopod. Then the ibis won't cut it and you will grab the monopod again.
