The thing I would fear the most (IF I was living in disbelief) is being separated from Him for eternity, which sadly... is going to happen to those living only for the THINGS of this temporary life here on earth than walking with our Creator. The Bible also tells us we have peace KNOWING that salvation is ours as a free gift. We have been purchased with the blood of Jesus Christ which is more than sufficient. There’s nothing anyone could possibly do to “earn” salvation. It is through Him and His amazing grace and kindness that we can be redeemed. He has/is preparing a place for us. It is an absolute promise He has given us that we are to know for certain. Jesus Christ also said you must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven. It is a second birth. Once that happens, TRULY happens, there’s nothing that can undo that. And you most likely know if you are born again. I’ll never forget the day it happened to me. It is truly miraculous.

I'm so sad he lost his way. I pray God reaches him again. People really don't tell you about the warfare you'll experience after giving your life to God. It sounds like he was hit with some facts about being a disciple of God and about God Himself that when Holy Spirit started wrestling with the flesh he chose his flesh.
The fear of the Lord - we are all subject to God's wrath, we are sinful disobedient creations. We DESERVE God's wrath, and thats why His grace is such a profound gift - thats why it is THE GOOD NEWS! He sent His Son to pay the debt for our sins, to redeem us. We have been given a mercy that we are undeserving of. This is why I love Jesus! And because I love Him I follow His commands. I stumble along the narrow road of course - I am still a newborn in the process of emptying my house and replacing it with the things that delight Him. But I delight in His rebuke and His Spirit grows in me. Join me in prayer for this man's soul brothers and sisters. If the Father has indeed called him, let us pray he returns to the Father.

Not the fear of god. But the fear of being without him. God shows us his love with his mercy and grace.. Not having that in our lives is what we must fear.. that is the true fear of god… Jesus died for our salvation. that we may have ever lasting life. His sacrifice for our sin. Is something we can never be worthy of. Yet god is constantly knocking on our door. God doesn’t want us to fear him. That is a lie of the enemy.. God is light and life.. He is not of fear.. Jesus said he is the way the truth and the life.. no one goes to the father except through him…
Fear of the lord is about respect ,,,,if the lord hasn’t scared you then you probably don’t know him ,,,
Its not fear if you embrace God in love. Appreciation. Thank fullness. You have your own thoughts that way. Fear is someone else's thoughts
