Thank you! And yes I agree completely! Fabric was hit or miss for a while and I think they knew that so that's why they've focused so much on it recently and took control of their cotton production. Their new cottons are beautiful!

I just bought my first dress from them, was inspired by your video! I have the Dawn dress in currant, and I couldn't be happier, it's so lovely. Thanks for introducing this great brand to me, as a plus size person it's so hard to find non-fast fashion , inclusive brands. Will definitely shop there again.

haha oh no! I think you're right in the smocking is a bit short but my bust is small and I'm short so I've never considered it a problem. I wonder if sizing up would work for you?

Hi! I'm 5'3" and my measurements are in the notes below! Yes I can usually wear either petite or regular but I always have to hem the regular. I'm normally a small/medium in regular sizes and a large in petite sizes.
Hello! I have been interested in Christy Dawn dresses but I am not sure about sizing. I am 5'8" with broad shoulders and a C cup. Do you find the dresses to run true to size? Dresses often fit me well in the bust and waist but are too tight in the shoulders.
Hey! Each style of Christy Dawn and each colourway/pattern within that have different measurements and they're on each listing on the Christy Dawn website. I would say in general I'm a small in dresses where the waist isn't fixed- so anything stretchy or with a drawstring. That's because I have very narrow shoulders and small bust but my waist and lower half are bigger. In the notes below I show what sizes generally work for me in each style for example the Paloma is normally generous so I wear a xs/s, and the Remy is smaller so I wear a M/L in it, etc. So hopefully you can gauge the sizes of the styles I own that way. Christy Dawn's customer service is great. I dm them on instagram and I'm normally answered within an hour so you can ask them about how a style generally runs there. I hope that's helpful!
