Too bad that Mark can't go to Egypt because of those Military punks that now control the country. I asked a Bangladeshi who is working almost 8 years here in Malaysia. What is his favourite food that he really missed but can only find back in his village. He said ‘Kulfi’ and I asked him again what it is. He said ‘Kulfi’ is very sweet and made from only milk and sugar. He explained to me from boiling the milk until the end but I still cannot imagine it. In my head is just maybe ‘Kulfi’ is sort of cheese but sweet. Now after watching this, I’m totally understand what he said. Thank you Mark!

I myself have a hard time in Bangladesh and feel bad that I can’t visit often. Thanks for making these videos, it means so much to see our food being highlighted because it is so under rated in the South Asian communities in the west as Punjabi food gets all the attention.

This is how these villagers plus whole Bangladeshi household prepare and eat foods daily. In Bangladesh, Home made foods never cause any health issue or stomach ache. It’s the food prepared in street side, restaurant and hotel you should be careful of when you gonna try to Bangladeshi food.
@John Smith It is ok when you prepare food with bare hands for your family. These village people have the arrangement for making food for their family only. Mark was a visitor to their family once in a blue moon.

One of the greatest hidden secrets of world cuisine is Bangladeshi food. While it could have similarities with what is now known as “Indian food”, it is, in fact, very very distinctive with its own character and style. I was first introduced to it in 1995 and have continued to be amazed by it over the years. I am not Bangladeshi so I have had to hone my cooking skills in order to make some of these dishes. I do want to point out that West Bengali (Indian) food is NOT THE SAME as Bangladeshi food. How lucky you are to be visiting and eating authentic food!!!!
Yeah, you are right. I am a Bangladeshi. However I do want to say that, though Bangladesh and west Bengal are very different in terms of some food, there are a lot of similarities too. In fact, west Bengal foods are more similar to Bangladeshi foods than Indian foods. Because West Bengali people and Bangladeshi Bengali people belong to the same ethnicity. Even 70 years ago the Bengal was undivided and during partition, a lot of people migrated there and some people from wes bengal shifted here. Almost 60% or more bengalies of West Bengal have their roots in Bangladesh.

Bengali food is out of this world. I have eaten some Bengali food in my early childhood friend's home. Hope some day I get a chance to eat it again.
Thanks to Rasif bhai.He is introducing you the traditional Bangladeshi village food.Love you Mark ❤️🇧🇩
Mark I’m crying you went to my motherland and then you went near a village where my father’s family is from. I grew up on this food. I’m so touched you visited and enjoyed the food. I myself have a hard time in Bangladesh and feel bad that I can’t visit often. Thanks for making these videos, it means so much to see our food being highlighted because it is so under rated in the South Asian communities in the west as Punjabi food gets all the attention.

But they aren’t being treated well unfortunately. These guys working hard day and night in harsh environment to place food in our table yet they are not getting enough support. 😭 You see their houses and lifestyle in this video?

Mark, your infectious smile and beautiful support of the villages that you visit is a legendary process. I could not do what you do when ingesting food as the villagers do. But you NEVER act as if it is a difficulty not to have any cutlery. You make them smile with your eating as they do, and enjoying the amazing foods they prepare. Thank You. You are a gift.

That means u are not belong to Bangladesh at all. U don't deserve this country at all. So please don't ever come to our country, those kind of people are just outsiders they just love the other countries rather than have minimum love for their own motherland at all. U are traitor.
