Need some further info. What is the suction depth of 1HP monoblock single phase pump ? We have a 12 feet sump and the pump is installed at ground level approx 6 feet from sump. I have an unground water storage tank and the pump installed about 15 ft above it. The overhead water tank is at a height of 70 ft .
Can I take a 1 HP centrifugal pump for this.
I am confused between a monobloc pump against a centrifugal pump. Does a centrifugal pump require a seperate motor or is it a composite unit ?

Hi, I live on the 2nd floor in a G+3 story building and water tank placed at top of flat. This is housing board flat and water supply from a big water tank. Total height of apartment is around 50-60 feet. my water pump is installed in flat at 2nd floor but water pressure is very low. So please suggest which water pump will be good for this requirement. earlier we had kirloskar 0.5 hp pump but pressure was low now I have V Guard f110 1 hp but still pressure is not good.
