Su and Moa are quite literally the best humanity has to offer. Yet I'm not entirely convinced they aren't celestial beings. Perfection is too light of a word, but it's the best I've got.
If you watched the most recent video from Babymetal, "The One - Stairway to Living Legend", SuMetal and MoaMetal did ascend. There is even a nod to YuiMetal towards the end.
Excellent reaction. The tale of Sonisphere tends to get exaggerated, but there is some truth in that it was their first tour and their first major event outside of Asia as well as being their first time in the UK. They were originally booked to play a small side stage or tent in front of maybe a couple of thousand people, but after the video for 'Gimme Chocolate' went viral they were creating a buzz, the tickets for their show a couple of days later in London sold out so quick it was switched to a bigger venue which also sold out fast, so the Sonisphere organisers changed their booking for them to open the main stage on the Saturday morning - it was relatively short notice but not 'last minute' or because anyone had cancelled. They had at least a couple of months notice of the change. There were some 'elitists' on social media who considered them a gimmick or a joke or some corporate product designed purely to make money from metal (no Japanese corporation would have thought that would have worked) and that they shouldn't even be at Sonisphere let alone on the main stage. They were threatening to boo them off and to have bottles of urine to throw (as has happened there in the past). Whether that was just empty threats or what, it didn't happen. The girls were nervous before going on stage, but mostly because from where they were standing backstage they couldn't see the crowd and thought that perhaps nobody at all had come to see them. Su explained better than any of us could what happened next.

Suzuka is a very hard working lady, she surely has put a lot of effort in improving her english among other things. On the live streams, yeah twitch is the way to go. The guys from Dicodec lately are pulling pretty good Babymetal concert streams on Twitch, once or twice each month on sundays. If you have doubts you could check one of their streams to see what they are doing. Sonny has also been streaming some Babymetal concerts on Twitch, maybe he can give you some tips. Oh and Lauryn-metal sounds good xD Have you seen how well our collective daughters have grown up?
From a Japanese TV show with a reporter that was at Sonisphere. The crowd was a mixture, the first 3 rows were Babymetal fans (3000 maybe) other were drawn in by the Kamiband sound check. A lot of the crowd were just getting a spot for the "Big Name" bands playing later. I have have seen the entire 30 minute set several times and you can see the crowd go from WTF to OMG they're good. Their band merchandise out sold all the other bands and the UK music media went GaGA. To repeat a comment I have posted many times "Those old metal heads never had a Chance!!" Totally understand you- same here. I saw a pic and watched my 1st youtube BM clip, thought it was Gimme Choko, and i too put them aside just thought: ok not too bad. But after some months i rediscovered them and after 2-3 songs was lost forever haha. Hard to explain. They and the Kami band are just awesome, but there is a "heart-thing" going on too. Maybe that's why BM fans are different, cuz we literally saw them growing up in Sakura Gakuin. That made us love them even more.
I like that Babymetal is new to metal fans, as well as everyone else since they are such a new sound. You can even say they are new to themselves as the are constantly experimenting with their style and music.

Fun fact: Su-Metal said BxMxC is one of her favorite songs to perform. I like that Su has a bit of a (what sounds like) a Californian accent now, rather than sounding like a Japanese person trying to speak English. She’s improved so much. Also, that Sonisphere story is not true. They were moved up to the main stage because they had generated a lot of buzz online, it was not some last second thing, that was a story made up by someone that spread.
All 3 songs they did at this show really showed how much deeper Su's voice has gotten. Not just deeper but richer and fuller..NOT the voice of a little girl anymore. You can hear and sorta imagine how the songs will be in the future with her new sound and control. Looking forward to how they'll progress in sound going forward. Also it's always great watching you guys get so excited over them. Just makes the reaction vids so much fun when people really get into it.
In 2014 I was listening to the Opie and Anthony radio show laughing at Babymetal's Gimme Chocolate video. So I thought I would watch it. It was so wierdly awesome that I just kept rewatching it. Then I started searching for more of their music. Which was even better. As I searched, I kept seeing something about a group the girls were in called Sakura Gakuin. By then I was hooked.
The move to main stage was announced in metal magazines around 2 months before . There is lots of storys going round about it was a last minute move to main stage or the organisers attempting to sabotage there performance ect It was the organisers idea to invite them . There is an interview with one of them saying at a meeting BabyMetal where mentioned and it was said" if we are suppose to be known for promoting new talent we should invite them" As Grington said Gimme Chocolate went viral and they moved them to main stage . The clip you seen was there last song IDZ and Su already had them singing along to Gimme Chocolate earlier BabyMetal had conquered them already by IDZ and left the stage with crowd chanting we want more and one more song . We put in the adoption papers in the UK after that so we got 2nd claim after Japan LVT so there not going in your pocket . "Starker Death" sounds about right . 🤘🤣🤘

Hey guys, another wonderful Babymetal reaction :) This was a truly awesome version of BxMxC. As for hosting a live streaming event of one of their concerts, you could do as other reactors have done. They didn't actually stream the concert footage itself, but had their viewers watch the footage simultaneously. The viewers would cue up the start of the concert and you would give the countdown to start the concert, so that everyone's synchronized. The only downside of this is that you can't pause the concert as it would throw everyone else's off, but then again, it's meant to be a stream...
64 year old retired military. I have listened too Japanese, Korean and Chinese/Taiwanese music since the 70’s (except for “sukiyaki “ which was a hit back in the 60’s) . hey that was one of the few tv appearances Babymetal has made. Like any true metal band they don't get on tv very often. You gotta have a number one album or something. As popular as they have become you would think that in Japan they would be in big demand for tv appearances. Around 2015 a Japanese government program called Cool Japan helped promote Babymetal internationally. They felt Babymetal represented a good image of things from japan. I think this is one of the reasons why Amuse keeps close tabs on them. No scandals, no sexual exploitation of the girls image and keep their private life, private. I think it worked out well for everyone.
Your close they were set to play a side stage in front of about 3000 fans but when people found out they were there the response was so great they were moved to the main stage. After there set there Merch sold out and babymetal was searched three times more then all of the other bands that performed for the entire show.
I watched Road of Resistance video 7 years ago and was wowed and thought I love this! Then questioned myself if I should like it hahaha of course they badass! Then I went down the rabbit hole , there is old interviews with English speaking interviewer and while Su and Moa did most of talking poor cute as can be Yui was dozing off so sleepy I felt sorry for her so tired she put the Baby in BabyMetal! Before Yui left the band they did another mini concert for a TV show, but that is heavily blocked as far as i know o_o Last week i saw Karen Girls Trip in Okinawa, it was cute af with our little Suzuka-chan there UwU also Ayami and Yuika

They were really nervous also because that crowd is know for being unforgiving towards performers they don't like: they even threw piss filled bottles on stage towards those kind of bands! So they were afraid to not being accepted!
Have you seen Corey Taylor's (of Slayer fame ) MV "CMFT Must Be Stopped"? Tech N9ne is one the two guest rappers and the MV has a bunch of cameos from metal bands including Babymetal. So Tech N9ne and Babymetal have appeared in the same video.

Yeah Su is getting close to sounding like a native speaker. I saw her speak on something else not to long ago and there were very few Japanese twangs, then I thought well she is a voice person and has good control so she will have it perfected soon.

Su’s English is better than some Americans’ English. I wholeheartedly agree with Moa’s comments that their music conquers all. I was never a fan of Metal or Jpop. But I’m a fan of BabyMetal.

They actually cut BxMxC from the broadcast, and it was only available later. Do you know that Koba Metal had said that they are well into working on the fourth album? The odd track or MV may appear over the Summer , otherwise the album will be released late 2021
@@massimocarrera8684 it was reported on the Brazilian site World of Rock as fact, not rumour, a couple of weeks ago. There was a tweet In Portuguese about it . Obviously early days, and the dates might be optimistic, and it would make sense not to release too long before a major tour and big arena showcase of new material. It makes sense though, as to tour in 2022 with no material newer than Metal Galaxy, and without a new Legend would be like they haven’t developed. Also, with the COVID vaccination rollout as it is, they are unlikely to tour outside of Japan until 2022
@@keithsowerby8179 Yeah nah don't bother with these "news", nobody has said anything relevant yet. The next album is indeed in the work, but in the same way Metal Galaxy took several years to complete, some songs on it even pre date Metal Resistance.

The last post on their site is dated December 16th, 2020 and in regards to the dates of the album release their recent tweet literally says "The expectation is that the official announcement of the album will be made later this year." LVT and MAGZ are siblings, that is the canon i'm going with XD This video you watched is from october 2020, it is part of a show that NHK puts on their international streaming channel, inviting japanese artists to perform there and promote Japan. That day they also performedd Pa Pa Ya! and Gimme Chocolate, and it was also the first time they performed with their new outfits (notice that it is simmilar to the 2019-2020 one, but with some different details and colors). And it is cute that Su is still a bit shy in interviews, you can see the way she keeps compressing her lips and breaking eye contact that she still feels a bit nervous in some interviews, and she also keeps looking at Moa for that supportive 'nod' XD. Moa seems less nervous, all calm and cool looking at the camera, and some nods at Su XD And that wastn the "black" Kami band, it was the japanese one, the black/white thing was from a concert with both bands in january 2020, both band are now usualy in black, since Legend S in 2017.

The story about Sonisphere is that Gimme Chocolate just went viral, so a few months before the festival, they decided to move Babymetal to the main stage! They were really nervous also because that crowd is know for being unforgiving towards performers they don't like: they even threw piss filled bottles on stage towards those kind of bands! So they were afraid to not being accepted!
Have you seen Corey Taylor's (of Slayer fame ) MV "CMFT Must Be Stopped"? Tech N9ne is one the two guest rappers and the MV has a bunch of cameos from metal bands including Babymetal. So Tech N9ne and Babymetal have appeared in the same video.

Yeah Su is getting close to sounding like a native speaker. I saw her speak on something else not to long ago and there were very few Japanese twangs, then I thought well she is a voice person and has good control so she will have it perfected soon.

@@massimocarrera8684 it was reported on the Brazilian site World of Rock as fact, not rumour, a couple of weeks ago. There was a tweet In Portuguese about it . Obviously early days, and the dates might be optimistic, and it would make sense not to release too long before a major tour and big arena showcase of new material. It makes sense though, as to tour in 2022 with no material newer than Metal Galaxy, and without a new Legend would be like they haven’t developed. Also, with the COVID vaccination rollout as it is, they are unlikely to tour outside of Japan until 2022
@@keithsowerby8179 Yeah nah don't bother with these "news", nobody has said anything relevant yet. The next album is indeed in the work, but in the same way Metal Galaxy took several years to complete, some songs on it even pre date Metal Resistance.

The last post on their site is dated December 16th, 2020 and in regards to the dates of the album release their recent tweet literally says "The expectation is that the official announcement of the album will be made later this year." This video you watched is from october 2020, it is part of a show that NHK puts on their international streaming channel, inviting japanese artists to perform there and promote Japan.
That day they also performedd Pa Pa Ya! and Gimme Chocolate, and it was also the first time they performed with their new outfits (notice that it is simmilar to the 2019-2020 one, but with some different details and colors).
And it is cute that Su is still a bit shy in interviews, you can see the way she keeps compressing her lips and breaking eye contact that she still feels a bit nervous in some interviews, and she also keeps looking at Moa for that supportive 'nod' XD.
Moa seems less nervous, all calm and cool looking at the camera, and some nods at Su XD
And that wastn the "black" Kami band, it was the japanese one, the black/white thing was from a concert with both bands in january 2020, both band are now usualy in black, since Legend S in 2017.

The Promoter for Sonisphere stated he would never have Babymetal on his stage. He was not very pleased when they Performed on his stage on 2014.
It was the promoter for Download in 2015 who said that ... DragonForce smuggled them in and invited them on stage during their set to play 'Gimme Chocolate'. lol
He was so mad that he offered them the main stage instead of the small tent initially scheduled :-D
