Just a test to get you to stay focused on your lord. I am sensitive to "evil eyes" myself. Just walking down the street or buying groceries, I have a sense of certain people sending bad vibes my way and it can make me anxious. My problem is not focusing on Allah enough and breathing properly and in my understanding I probably gave evil eyes many times to others before I became a believer.
