Hopefully the authorities who are going to build the new dombivili mumbai highway to reach in 1hr will help so many residents and factory owners to reach by road
Hey Vishal, I am a fan. I must say everyone should appreciate the work you are doing where you throw light on the realities of living in the MMR region. However, I have to say that you do come across as somewhat of a snob when you say things like "This is it!" as your first utterance when you visit a residence. A residence is made of aspirations of young souls! Why put off a huge portion of your viewers with utterances like that? I suspect that you are empathetic and understanding at heart. However, that is not coming out well lately. Please fix it ASAP! Maybe you can tell us about your childhood, your growing up days: where have they been? What shapes your views about Mumbai living? Maybe that will help viewers empathize with your point of view. Also, a suggestion: you are very frank and forthright about rents. What about the deposit? Please mention that too. Also, how much would it cost to buy the place outright? How much would the EMI be? For how much tenure? That way, viewers may understand the cost/benefit analysis of buying v/s renting. And lastly, in the interests of transparency: Does your channel pay tenants showcased on the show? How much is it? I'm guessing a year's rent is fair. If you disclose that, maybe more tenants will reach out to you and together we can understand living in MMR much better. In any case, clearly, it is much better to have a show like this than not! I do appreciate your work around throwing light and enlightening young souls on the realities and nitty-gritties of Mumbai living. Please keep up the good work but please be more empathetic!
How can they say Dombivli better than Thane for living ? It is not just about travel time and near to station stuff. Office work location can change any point of time in future. Both of them stayed in Dombivli for long time now and dont know what other locations offer.
Let me explain it to u slowly….Offc location can change suppose next offc is far from xyz stn. After train travel They will have to travel by road then(time consuming & somthing they hate but will have to no choice) but once they reach domb they won’t have to!!!! Now if if they lived in ghodbunder they will again have to travel 40+ mins from stn-home after train travel!! This they can change so they opted for domb. Nr. Stn area Also it’s not just about travel time they were born & raised there & THEIR PARENTS Also live there!
Living in dombivli is far better than living in thane in areas which are more than 7km from the station. Thane to dombivli takes exactly 15 minutes on the fast local train. And if you live near dombivli station it will take max 10 minutes to reach home. Whereas if you live in far away places in thane it will take way longer to reach your home.
If you compare it to today, life is livable in Dombivli than in Thane, crowd and safety issues are a problem in Thane than Dombivli, Thane real estate prices are inflated as hell.
