    I used psyllium instead of egg and they turned out great and that little bit of yeast is a game changer

    I made these buns. Followed the recipe to the letter. I ended up with very heavy dense buns. Won't be making them again.

      My dough is extremely wet and they will probably also come out heavy. Basically wasted 4 eggs and my time unless a miracle happens

      This can happen if you press the flour into your cup instead of filling it with a spoon.

      @@fettoschnek I have been baking for over 50 years. I understand how to fill a measuring cup. Thank you for the tip though. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Hi Janet, Alton Brown once said there are 2 kinds of people: hot dog people and hamburger people. I’m a hot dog people.
    I have been using almond flour but I love your recipes with coconut flour. Less carbs and less product. I like yours because there are more than fathead dough to use. I like fathead dough just not every recipe.
    I read article and link on sub molds. Great tip.
    Thanks for your work.

      @@immersiveexperiences4799 Any oil will work. I prefer liquid coconut oil or olive oil. You can also use melted butter or margarine

    Can these be made ahead and frozen? If so, how to wrap to freeze?

    Hi. Can i use almond flour or chicken flour instead??

    • @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen
      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  Рік тому

      No unfortunately coconut flour cannot be substituted with any other flour. It is very absorbent and requires a lot more liquid and binders

    Does anything make coconut flour rise? Eggs?

    • @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen
      @JanetsDeliciousLowCarbKitchen  2 роки тому

      No unfortunately recipes with coconut flour only do not rise very much at all. Coconut flour is very dense and requires a lot of moisture so it makes the dough too heavy to really rise

      Can I use lupine flour instead of coconut? I love how you carefully explained the process. Thank you!
