My silly little theory about what the story behind the pv is: a vampire accidentally kills their lover with special blood they had gotten addicted to, so the vampire finds an aincent recipe that makes them able to recreate the taste of their dead lovers blood using their hair. The grieving vampire then makes their way through the snow to find their lovers grave. They dig up the grave just enough to reach the hair of the corpse, taking a fistfull and making their way back through the deep layers of snow, the sun weakening them enough to make them unable to walk, therefore they have to drag themselves back. They prepare ingredients, following the recipe word for word from the book. The vampire feels an unstable mix of joy and insanity as they enjoy their lover's blood for the very last time, savouring the nostalgia it gave them. (Keep in mind i don't know what the lyrics say, and this is just a little theory)
I know it’s a very random comment and it’s stupid but I just noticed that even tho the title is “this day. this rain” it’s not even raining in the PV, he’s just surrounded by snow instead. Is there something hidden in the title like a metaphor or something or am I being unnecessarily deep ?
