Awesome. I have been doing what you said not to, fiddling with the pliers! Was getting to the point where I was genuinely worried about losing my watch. The best three minutes I have ever spend on UA-cam, now as tight as a drum and such an easy fix! Thank you.

I wanted to let you know I needed my Rolex for a wedding this weekend. I called a repair shop and they said it'd be 6-8 weeks and about 900 dollars you saved me time and hundreds of dollars cheers to you !

I presume the 900 dollars was for a service too? Pleased you got your watch 'wearable' for the wedding. Cheers!

FANTASTIC!!! Im on a business trip and my 1675 started opening up without warning. This did the trick in 2 seconds without a tool. Bend a little, test, bend a little, test... done. Thank you!

Literally saved my watch. Was fearful of losing my watch, would not stay clasped. I put a bit of a bend in the band, as shown and all is good now. Thanks so much.

Wow. Great job. I just inherited a Rolex from a family member who said the strap was broken and didn't want to spend the money to fix it. I thought a piece had broken off somewhere. This solved it immediately. Thank you so much. Btw, mine is an Oyster Perpetual Datejust 62523N18 in case anyone has the same and is wondering if this repair does the trick.
