Arguably better defensively since Beast can actually take damage even on his active skill taunt turn (rare but happens).

I’d give Cell Max a spot as 4th best unit. I feel like the odds of Cell Max getting sniped by a hard boss is higher than either of the 6th Year EZA’s. His Limitation on categories kinda reduces his usefulness too. Like, why doesn’t he have Exploding Rage when he’s a literal screaming watermelon all throughout, or Planetary Destruction when his active skill *destroys the earth*!

21:12 last time i checked beast ain't on artificial lifeforms, super bosser OR movie bosses, so not only is cell max mkissing out on the attack and the crit but also the defense and damage reduction, running him with beast literally hurts him quite a lot, which is quite accurate to canon, it works the same way a deflated wheel can still work, but more often that not you're gonna crash

Like beast gohan is really strong, but Cell max having an active that gives him +999% def is broken. Something that the villain team's needed.
Also, I would give Cell Max defense equips. He can probably get another 100K DEF when fully built up with around 1500 DEF

I feel like team versatility is one of the most important factors when talking about top units, and from that fact, in my opinion, hes at like 4 or 5 in my opinion.
I guess Infighter usually is a link given to characters that excel at close combat and want to get close to their enemy OR they were put in a position of close combat only (cellmax had to fight Piccolo while Gohan was charging, that put him in a infighter position)
The should have Change infighter or Berserker for a KI Link, like Fear and Faith.

The reason why Beast is still no.1 is due to consistency, he performs mostly the same from start to finish in all of the fights.
Cell Max has bigger number in both offensive and defensive side in the active turn, you can say Cell Max is stronger than Beast in the active turn. But he can fall off defensively after the active turn and gets killed easily.
To be fair tho, there is no event that can stand the super boss bukkake fest yet lol.

I don't know how much this title is bait Vs what happens in the video but I genuinely did think he'd be Number 2 behind Beast as soon as we saw that kit. The levels of offense & defence, combined with an easy to get "safe turn" is just so stellar.
Again you can still run him with Beast and Gammas but keep them separated, Locking bosses and starting rotations can possibly be problem but can make it work but just have to make sure whoevers linked with Beast or Gammas aside from them rest of team needs to fulfill Cell Maxs Conditions so he always has right units on turn with him, But again can make it work if you were That wanting to run Beast or Gammas on team with him…

I think you should look at units with their teams in mind. Gogeta having his target later is good since there is another target ability. Gogeta provides support while cell max does more damage and tanks for the team.
Cell max having access earlier to his target ability doesn’t make his better than gogetas. Only for shorter fights. Against gogeta blue he will have his target always up
Having your abilities open to you sooner makes you infinitely better than characters who get them later
The sooner you get your sauce, the more you can cook across the whole game
If your power is restricted until later, you will fall out once events are stronger than your weakness
@@jaipadv8282 that goes both way since cell max early access to his target ability is restricted. Gogeta has the luxury of having another target ability in his team while also having revive characters.
Gogeta is flexible, while supporting his team with rainbow orbs and healing aswell having another target ability which is easily useable in the most difficult fights rn.
Moreover gogeta is better than cell max once cell max intro wears of and his target ability is off.
I just don't see how he is number 2 when he is so restricted. He is basically only good on superbosses team.
Both mui goku and evo vegeta feel stronger to me.
Also I feel like this is the one character you would want to give full dodge to.
He needs to take damage to build up, why would you go full dodge on him and it’s not like he’s going to be taking any damage anyway

And no, when his intro and active is done he can't tank the big boss supers.
@@pizzadeliveryspringtrap9152 Cell Max with a crit build can legitimately 1 turn almost every boss phase while backed by Broly or Rose, dodge is a stupid build for a character whose whole purpose is ending a fight quickly before his defensive mechanics run out which is what Cell Max does.
@@SadMoribund he already has built in crit and additionals, he will do fine offensively. Plus it's much easier to run him on a fight without superheroes for his atk than running him on a full rotation of artificial, movie bosses or superbosses for his defence.
I just don't see the value in giving him crit, I think additional or dodge is more valuable.

Also that's not how his attack works, the superheroes thing is only for allies on his rotation not enemies you're facing. Giving him crit just maximizes his damage consistency and makes blowing through events quicker a breeze you'll never notice his drop off after the intro buff ends.

If there was one unit worth going for pity with the Silver Coins, it's definitely Cell Max. It's just sad that it will most likely drop in bad timing for Global.
