  • The California Home Services Bureau Legislation requires that new Home Care Aides complete a background check, TB test, and a minimum of five hours of initial training.
In addition to initial certification requirements, all Home Care Aides must complete five hours of annual continuing education on specific core competencies AND client specific needs.
What you may not know is that all of the state required training can be completed online.
Instead of hosting class after class after class on site, what if you could simply assign interactive video-based training to all of your caregivers with the click of a button?
And what if your caregivers could complete their state required training on their smartphone or tablets anytime and anywhere?
Bonus: What if you had the ability to assign the online training BEFORE you make your hiring decision, so that you can weed out the applicants who are not serious BEFORE you invest time and money in background checks, TB tests, and new hire orientation?
On Tuesday July 10th, 2018, CareAcademy Training Specialist Morgan Rosh showed how you can do all of the above with CareAcademy’s new Online Caregiver Training platform.
