The Dark Kinana and mei that were showing up were because back when they were making these chapters the game had a much lower budget and just didn't have many different enemies or at least that's what I've heard. there isn't really a lore reason why they show up in chapter 4. the quality of the game has gone up a lot since these chapters
Yeah, back in the day Hoyo was actually small indie studio, still back in the day Hi3 was revolutionary but now the early chapter age really show.
I can't believe they added Bonbon to Star rail as Bronya's step mom.
One of the best fun re-reading early game stories is to notice how 3 B-rank Valkyries are enough to fight off a fully grown Hersscher who was later one punched by a mass production mech. I mean, the power level is really messed up in early stories.

@@xcoverwrite1451 The Gem IS a core. The problem isn't that she doesn't have a core, that would make her not a Herrscher. The problem is that Wendy has had those powers for like half an hour and even then she is clearly shown to be reluctant to use them against the trio. The most legitimate complaint is how easily she gets knocked out but even that can be excused with how she was handicapping herself and wasting energy dragging the fight out and then being caught by surprise.
Also OP, while Wind can be a terrifying power it takes skill and practice to really get it right so the power levels are actually pretty on the money - the girls have graduated here so they're all A-ranks too and we've been given rather blatant indication that for all her breattines Kiana is plenty powerful in combat.
to be fare 2 of those B rank valkyries do have dormant Hersscher cores in them already and Bronya is a bit special not spoiling it here for people that dont know so power wise they aren't your average B ranks for sure ^_^

There is literally a megaton of content in this game, so it will definitely feel like a slog. It gets really good as you go on. I quite literally love Vermillion Knight, and have her built to the maximum possible damage.
There is a lot to do, and IMO the lore is more interesting than Genshin.
I hope you keep playing in the future, the feels will start soon
Aw man, I cannot explain just how happy I am to see you play hi3. Even though I haven’t been playing much these past few months and I’m not sure I’ll come back, it’s still easily one of my favourite games ever and seeing you this interested in lore, which is really quite chaotic at the start, makes me suuuuper happy. I’ll make sure to come to some hi3 streams, too! c:

YEEEAAAHGGG FINALLY
After 4 years of playing the game, I have quit the game after the final chapter, I feel very burned out and I cant stand to spend one hour everyday just for the story and hours to grind weekly contents like Elysian Realm, Super string for the small, minute amount of xtals that may not get the weapon and stigmata for the new character. SP characters also takes a very long time to farm and the positive feedback is little to the point that i think it is no longer worth it to do. Every time i see the updates and new characters i would want to know the story but set back by the insane length of the story after the final chapter.
I just dont feel like playing it.
I personally quit after playing chapter 17. And I don't feel the need of coming back

Please read the honkai mangas, if you have time. Especially 2nd eruption, it goes over everything that happened with Cecelia and Siegfried on that day. The mangas have no spoilers, snice they play in the past. Please read it, it's really exciting!

Knight moonbeam main damage come from her charge attack, that is why the basic attack feel so slow
If you wanna rank Kiana up more, theres a daily shop that you can buy the 3 based valks using just purely coins.
Either that, send yr valks for expidition and they will farm valk pieces for you everyday, without you doing too much work.

If there's one thing I learned from reading honkai, it's that the world can be negatively affected if you SIMPed something too hard.
ive restarted playing hi3 from ground zero after gettting to around chapter 30 on the steam version because you have dont have a complete account and no cross platform. i cant attatch my hoyoverse account so no way to look at my stats along side my other hoyoverse game accounts.
ive already got a new set of characters, my fu hua and bronya collection are gone, my horb seele and project bunny elf too but i have 2 himekos and a near ss grieso from the star wars event. my main goal is that free senti because senti has been my goal character since their introduction i played on my prev account. only just finished chapter 9 again (you know you know...) so ive got a massive fight to go to even catch up to my prevous place.

I just realized how casual they're talking about the events of the 2nd Honkai Eruption here....as if it doesn't concern Kiana. i feel like a lot of detail in the previous chapters were warped to accommodate the expository segments of the later chapters. Rewatching people play made me see plot holes and I realize just how overrated the story is in terms of lore when there are a lot of inconsistencies surrounding details. I guess they just roll on with it thinking people would still consume it.
