The Wall to Wall Remembrance Ride is a charity motorcycle event held every year to commemorate officers who have fallen in the line of duty. A gesture of solidarity between all Australian police forces, it involves riders travelling in convoy from their respective state police memorials to the National Police Memorial in Canberra. All funds raised from registration fees go towards police legacy organisations. This event also marks the beginning of Australian Police Week, which recognises the important contributions made by the police to our communities.
Both the NSW and Queensland contingents of the Wall to Wall Ride departed from the NSW Police Memorial Wall in The Domain, Sydney CBD. Escorting and riding alongside them were units of the NSWPF Traffic & Highway Patrol Command, as well as the Queensland Police Service (QPS) Road Policing Command.
