"hi my name is lauren, i just made this beat" is the bar of the century tbh
I've been producing for around 11 years now and in all honesty the first 4 years my beats were completely random, some days they were good but many more days were not so good, I could always tell I was musically inclined but it takes years to refine our ears and learn how to mix, add the right effects, etc. I would say now in one week I can make better stuff than my whole first half a decade of production but as we've heard before, greatness takes time!
going back & fixing old beats is always fun 🤩 you never know how important sound selection is, until you do 💯
Your reaction at 9:49 had me rolling! 😂😂😂😂😂
You weren't trash, just a little unrefined. I wouldn't know where to start with so much software. You've grown significantly, but your talent has always been there. I was super happy to see a new video today and as always I can't wait to see the next one. Enjoy your weekend beautiful and may God watch over you. ❤❤❤ Indi
I found an old af usb the other week that had ALL of my beats that I made when I was a teenager on it. To say that the mixes were utterly offensive would be an understatement. My first ever beat was basically a very poorly mixed Lollipop rip off. 😂
Give it the cat to bury in the garden brah xD
More than 400 beats, incredible!!!
Definitely do another one it's cool to see you show how you started and where you are now and the improvements you made and things you learned to better your production
this is hard trap beats lolly
Lolly locked in
wait i need to see exactly how you remade the melody im impressed
i love this type of video and that 2nd Beat was hard asf🔥🔥🔥

also that drumkit is 🔥💪😎💯
Lauren, I would very much enjoy watching your reactions to music you've never even heard of before because I think it would dramatically increase your own dynamics when creating music in FL studio. ALL of the most successful legendary artists perfected their own style throughout polar opposite genres of music by studying and learning from music nobody would ever assume they had but it's true. It will be monumental for your career and even awe inspiring at times to discover more music than you ever knew existed. I've noticed a lot of simple single note progressions in your melodies, but not much in the way of chord progression. One of the most masterful and easy ways of experiencing beautiful brilliant chord progressions is by listening to guitar players. For me personally it's much easier than learning on piano. Guitar can still be very dynamic however because you have 5 fingers and up to 6-7-8-12 strings that can be played in harmony at once. With the right chord learning and making application on piano, it could drastically broaden your scope of music and genre. I'd hate to see you get stuck in one style because you have so much talent and excellent ear for music. Create a poll on your socials if you like, but really pay attention to the advice of other producers with a very broad range of music experience. I believe in you. Take care.
Could you do a video on what your favorite sounds are to use when making melodies, like what analog labs and other plug ins you use sounds to create your sound? love the videos!!
oh god iam afraid of that time in my life where i listen to old beats and even tho right now i find them fire xD they potentially will suck when i listen em back haha
