Never underestimate the power of a cub. I just finished restoring my great grandfathers 47. Tuff tractor. Farmed a 10 acre farm with it

Those little cubs are nice little tractors. They really shine when a man with a mind and ingenuity are using them. And yours is shining.

My hat is off to you brother.
You have an incredible work ethic.
I would call it "courageous ".
    Respect.

I started out with a IH Super C when I bought my property. Used it to clear the woods and drag logs to my home built gantry and would put them on my trailer. I would pull the trailer with the tractor 3 miles down the road and sell them to a saw mill. Did enough hardwood and cedar to buy my double wide and buy the block and mortor for the base.

Really like your log hauler. Nice. With 77 acres of standing forest I wish I had a saw mill. Bit of sweep to your log but not to bad.

The little tractor that could and did...and still does! The first tractor I ever drove and used was Grandpa's 1955 Cub.

Not trying to prove you wrong or anything just provide some information, but a green (assumed 75% moisture content) northern red oak log at 18' long and 24" all the way through would run about 3500lbs. That bark looks more like white oak to me, but I don't know exactly where you are so maybe it's a type of red that I haven't seen before. White oak log that size would run 3800ish. Very nice log, can't wait to see the mill review! Looking forward to seeing these floorboards go down as well! My current goal in life is to purchase land and build my family a log cabin. Just a get-away for right now, but eventually move to in retirement. Love the channel. Really appreciate the hard work you're putting into the videos.

Your right, I was talking a stab in the dark. I didn’t have a clue how heavy it was. Just knew it was heavy

I’m sure it felt like 10k using equipment like that. Great job!

Howdy Brother- it’s amazing what a feller can do if he is determined. Enjoying your channel tremendously. Can’t wait to see you saw that log and the review. I found your channel because of your sawmill. Take care and God’s blessings to you

Down here in Florida, if you drop a tree and come back a year later it's ruined.

having a hand cranked winch to get the log in position would be nice i think.

That log weighed no where near 10,000lbs.
