Meri, Kody's first wife, has been clinging to the idea they might romantically reconcile, but the Brown patriarch shuts down any hope as they celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary. 'Sister Wives' airs Sundays on TLC.
I love how he went on US Weekly to try and save face. He said in the interview that he doesn't care about how the public perceives him, yet he wants Meri to pretend because it makes him look bad. This dude is one of the sickest narcissists I've ever seen, and that's saying something, being that I was raised by one.

Meri is the one I feel most compassion for now. I suppose it was Christine first, but she has exceeded everyone's expectations and has taken her life back. What a Shero she is.

Meri gave up all the right of a legal wife to give Robyn and her children to be lagally adopted and get benefits. I can only imagine how much Meri put into that family financially. It makes me angry that they want to penalize her for only being able to have one child it is disgusting.

My friends, when a narcissist (Kody) has no use for you, they will discard you like a piece of trash. Kody took her years(most of her youth) and money, but what brings me solace is knowing that he will ‘reap the seeds that him and Robyn (enabler) sowed.’ Be careful how you treat people, because karma never forgets. Meri gave up so much for that undeserving prick, but she will be alright.👍

I agree. We all knew that Meri was in denial. It's hard to let go when you love someone. Even more so when your marriage is a covenant of your faith. Based on the last episode of the show, it seems like she's finally seeing what Kody is trying to do to her and getting ready to stand her ground and protect her interest in Coyote Pass. I loved it when she told him that he and Robin will have 8 acres and she would only have two.
Kody could've easily given the wives their money and told them to go get a life; but no, he decided to instead deceive them to try to keep their money because the love of his life(Robyn) doesn't work

Kody divorced Meri...when he legally divorced Meri! And in her heart, I think she knew that's what was really happening back then...which is why she was so distraught and emotional about signing the papers. She knew deep down that the adoption was just an excuse/a sham, to convince her to allow Kody to divorce her, to legally marry Robyn...the only "wife" he ever really wanted. And he seems to be completely oblivious to the way his choices and behaviors have affected ALL the people in his life...not just the women, but THEIR children, too. Such a narcissistic @sshat.
That's not true, he obviously did his best to provide for all his sister wives, but they felt threatened by Robyn fron the get go and the trivial constant whinny and drama drove him away!

Kody had a job until they had to leave Utah, by then they were making money from the reality show and now he had 18 kids and 4 wives and so much drama and chaos I don't know how he stuck it out when most men would have ran away from it all. If watched all the shows you saw how he was present and and very nurturing until the 3 wives just turned things upside down no way was this guy going to come out a good guy! I think Kody is making it 100% more difficult by not being honest, trying to make his behavior everyone else’s fault and kind of rewriting history. Did he really never love Meri? Or is he saying that now only because he feels something completely different for Robyn? Also, would he be singing Robyn’s praises if she wasn’t so exceptionally loyal and differential to him?

You can legit see when, where, how, who's, etc, relationships start ripping apart from the seams. Kody acts like a jerk from the first rip & *NEVER REALLY* tries to repair the relationships!! Cody seems to forget that what he told Meri is what pushed her to find being Wanted from someone else. Robin and Christine were both pregnant and Meri and Cody went on a hike, they sat down when Meri said she wanted to have another baby. Cody shot her down Cold with No. Meri was Crushed but she was trying to hide it. That's when Cody started treating Meri like Crap but he still continued to have more children after that. This is when Meri started to look for a Friend and got Catfish. Cody used this and told everyone that this was the reason he didn't want her and used it as a cover up so that he would Not be looked at as the bad guy.
