I'm an older woman, as well. Turned the 60 milestone and not terribly happy about it. But I do need a proper coverage and I think MERIT is classy and the right choice for the older woman.
So happy to see Wayne happy with this makeup line. Clean makeup has been my jam and it’s nice to see a line like Merit receive more attention. Prices are affordable too, compared to the luxury clean makeup like Westman Atelier and Kjaer Weis. I hope Merit will send him more things so he can review/play- I would love to watch!

Have always loved your longer tutorials when I can relax-all so informative😊 But for a review-I LOVE that you were so direct, told us *how* you were using the product while clearly showing which colors you were using, and how you liked it! TO👏 THE👏 POINT👏 I’ve been on the verge of trying some merit products but you’ve officially convinced me! ESPECIALLY with the shadows-so happy you showed how you use them to get a pretty, natural, just freakin VERY ATTRACTIVE look!!! Hahaha I’m so obsessed! I'm a *recovering compulsive shopper,* 🙁 so I now REALLY take an exceedingly long time when committing to my purchases. I've been pouring over the *MERIT* website for over a few months now. I decided to go with the MERIT grouping of products that includes: mascara, brow, a beautiful shadow called "Social", and application brush. A lovely makeup bag is included with a first purchases, and all was reasonably priced, too! Thank you so kindly for demonstrating MERIT'S complexion stick and everything else. I'm detecting an upcoming purchase very soon. ♥️

I feel you! Even 10 years later, other than Amazon/target where I only get essentials that I actually need to use, I have an INCREDIBLY hard time clicking the final “purchase” button on any other website! It’s great though, because by the time we *make* the actual purchase-in this case for you, as a perfect example-we’ve considered what we’re purchasing for over a month, often multiple; and at that point, if you keep being pulled back….def not an impulse buy!
Wanted you to know that you’re certainly not the only one. I have a bit of lingering trauma even, and guilt-most of it has been worked through, hehe🙃 I have severe ADHD and am only now understanding how that contributed-websites like GILT, Nordstrom rack (hautelook at the time), and another I can’t recall….the freaking countdown was awful, ha!

I’ve never been a fan of stick foundations because of the heaviness but the Merit one is incredible. It’s the only thing I’m using on my skin right now.

Absolute fan of Merit! Does wonders on my mid-50s face. I've been using the blush balms for a few months. Just picked up the Minimalist and it's delightful. Everything has colour, but not too much. Hydrating. Just a lovely product line.
This video brings me so much joy! I’ve had a few friends ask me advice on changing their makeup to suit more mature skin and I always steer them to Merit. Their makeup really changed the game for me! You look absolutely perfect!

Wayne your skin just gets better and is looking beautiful. It always looked pretty good to me even when you pointed out a few issues, but now your skin just looks absolutely amazing. I have the same complexion and an oily excess also and am using some of your recommendations which have also made a dramatic difference to my skin so many thanks for that. Just in case you have changed your skincare routine though would you consider an up to date video? Please lol 🥰
Because Merit gives you a polished but not too made up look both my daughter and I love it. My favorite is the lip oil in Sangria.

Been using it since last January. Love it. Love everything they have. Highly recommend to everyone. Hint to all - buy two shades of face makeup and you can use the lighter one under eye and the put the darker one on top.
Do you set under your eyes and does the last all day ?

Merit is beautiful. I have rosacea and having been using The Minimalist for two years now, and I am almost finished with my second stick. I use the Merit brush, I have two actually. I use one for the foundation stick and one for the bronzer and blushes. The blushes are so gorgeous. Their mascara is amazing and their lip oils are so beautiful, they leave behind a gorgeous stain. Unfortunately, their brow product didn't do anything for me, and I have yet to try the eyeshadows. The highlighter is stunning too. I use the brush to blend the foundation, and then I have found that using my finger to pat the product on a blemish, zit, pimple, or scar is best. I love the bronzer, but I need it in a darker shade. I love YOU by the way, and have enjoyed watching your content for years now. I watched you way back when you did the tutorials, in a different house I believe, whiter back ground, different setup. I rely/relied so much on your HOODED eyes related content. I can't afford your brushes, but one day I aspire to own them all-as well as your products! I have enjoyed watching you grow, your channel grow, and your content grow. Sir Wayne Goss, if I could ask anything of you and have it be granted, could you please do tutorials on mature skin, the whole nine yards of techniques, products, application, tools to use, etc?. My mother is in her early sixties and has very sparse brows and crepy skin on her eyelids. Thank you again for posting the content that you do!
I just started using the Merit concealer and love it. I'm off to Sephora get the other products you mentioned.

I love the Merit colors and textures too. The only problem is the cheek and lip colors don't last very long and need a lot of reapplications during the day. But, way better than overdoing it. Glad you like them too.
I find a makeup setting spray helps. I am particularly fond of the one by Caliray. 😊❤️
Not sure HOW I missed the launch for your brushes but waiting for them to arrive and I cannot wait!!!! I got the eye set (with back ups this time) and hoping the face brushes are still there next month because I am asking Santa for them! This makeup looks great too!

Could not agree more. So beautiful and lightweight. Easy to achieve a no make up makeup look! And so convenient for a mom on the go (like me!) I call it my stoplight makeup 😂 easy to apply at stoplights with a rear view mirror!
It’s really an excellent line. I’ve switched over completely and am very happy with the results.
10:55 - 11:05 = solid gold. I have and love most of the eyeshadows (and yes, I also use the darker shades as gel liner), and the blush in Stockholm.
I was literally on their site last night! I have wanted their products for so long.
Merit is great but I’ve never used the face oil. I put the foundation over clean slightly moisturized skin but it’s not shiny moisturized. The dotting action really covers pimples very very well. Then I powder my whole face with Well People or Clinique blotting powder since I’m so pale (I use the lightest shade minimalist stick and it’s a perfect match). I use a powder blush and then mascara and it looks so flawless. It’s the best looking foundation I’ve ever used BUT…double cleanse your face ladies. I’m not sure what ingredient is in it but I developed horrible acne after using this for 3 months and after the stick ram out it took me about 6 months to get back to normal again. Since then every day I wear makeup I wash my face teice with my derma e hydrating cleanser I’ve used for over 7 years.
It looks really good on you. It reminds me of the Fenty color sticks that look and react the same way on the skin.

And you can build coverage easily. It’s pretty pigmented.
I do love a lot of merit products but unfortunately the foundation breaks me out. It is truly a shame because I love the natural and glowy finish of it. The eyeshadow and lip products are beautiful
Also wish they would make some light cream eyeshadows. I like them as a base and more lighter colors would be awesome!
I have the Merit lipstick called Baby. It’s the lightest one and changes color with different lip liners. Very handy.

I think I need to try Merit now. Have you tried Seint? I absolutely love it! I don't care for the contours, but I love everything else. It just took a learning curve on using it right. My only complaint is how you have to buy it through a person and not a store or company, and the only person I know who sells it is my Boss. In my opinion, it's quality product and very little bit lasts all day through my 9 hour work shifts. The only thing I ever need to touch up is lip color!

I tried soooo hard to like Merit but was very disappointed by all of it. Im 64 and like a natural look,but this was nothing but barely tinted grease on my face. Time and money wasted, but the corduroy gift bag is cute

Would this work on the oily skin of a 57 yr old. Yes I am still oily and super oily on my nose with fairly large pores and occasional breakouts. But I don't want to use just powder products as I find they make my skin look saggy.
What do you think of By Terrys hyaluronic line and could you do a review of it? Thanks for your time and your help for us peeps trying to learn new ways as we age.

I love Merit products but the foundation stick doesn’t match me as I have light olive skin. I don’t wear foundation all over, only to spot conceal or cover redness on my. One and chin a bit o I need a perfect match. But their other products are wonderful! Thanks for bro going them to the forefront

I’m a fan of Merit- great for mature skin. The only thing I will say is the mascara is very light- so if you are trying to get a dramatic lash look, this isn’t the mascara for you.

I love Merit. I’m 65 years old and I’ve used all the products you demonstrated except for the mascara and highlighter. Reasonable prices as well.
I want to try it but shade match is always a problem for me I have over 60 skin in good condition, thanks skin care products, so don’t need to hide much. Little darkness corners of eyes and even my face out. I have never worn foundation Very light skin with either cool or neutral undertones. Any ideas?

That ''lipstick'' is sheer enough that it would be something you could wear in winter especially if you suffer badly from dry skin on your lips but - like you - don't like wearing lipstick proper. It adds a faint sheen but not enough to look as though you are wearing either lipstick or even vaseline, something which many would probably like. Oh, and that particular shade on you really did look invisible which makes it a shade that is very appealing to me at least (hate lipgloss and find very few lipsticks actually last for more than half an hour or so, no idea why but very annoying) as you can't see if it is wearing off.
I had looked into this makeup, but I read several reviews of their products that said it doesn't last all day.
Does anyone have experience with this?

The Merit billboards in Los Angeles feature such maudlin models. It’s as if a Merit beauty purchase should come with an anti anxiety medication. They look very posh and absolutely miserable, it’s a bit off putting.
