    Nice Vid. Great comparisons. Now i know how much ram to allocate.

    Add 1% lows and 0.1% lows to the frame rate counters to show stutters

    • @Heliosentrismo
      @Heliosentrismo  3 місяці тому +1

      We used to show 1% low but can’t decide for which one I mean 1% or 0.1%, so it was removed while we do some research about it.
      After some math we think 1% is better but instead we decide to add frame time graph, that way people can see posible stutters.
      But yeah we can add 1% and If you prefer 0.1% I would like to know why?
      Don’t want to add them both just to keep info as clean as posible, if we add them both some people probably get confused by looking at 4 fps counters that’s the reason of our actual set up c:

      @@Heliosentrismo Seeing 1% low would be better to have an overview of frame drops during the game, moments when rendering becomes heavier and the video card has to work harder
      btw I don't think 0.1% low is necessary

    Can you help with my question?
    So, I'm going to buy a PC because my current pc can't handle playing "All the Mods 9" at all.
    For the CPU, I'll be using the 7800XD, but I'm really confused about the GPU.
    Many people recommend using AMD GPUs, but almost all modded Minecraft reviews use Nvidia GPUs.
    I really need your help. Should I buy an Nvidia GPU instead of AMD? This question is from the perspective of playing "All the Mods" Minecraft, so you can ignore things like Nvidia being better for production or AMD being better for etc etc

    • @Heliosentrismo
      @Heliosentrismo  Місяць тому

      On modded Minecraft you don't "need" a powerful gpu. Minecraft specially modded is huge cpu and ram demanding (I probably go 32GB ram). I've tested tons of modpacks and 4060ti is always 20%/30% max usage, only way to get that number high is by enable some demanding shaders and resource pack.
      That said, your cpu is good enough (R7 7800X3D) our gameplay guy actually use that cpu in his main pc. And yeah feel free to use a AMD gpu, I bought this one caz most of my work is on premiere, ps, ai, etc, and I was concern about wattage c:
      we already test all the mods 8 and 9, maybe this help you:

    Btw another question, lets say i have 16gb ram , i put for my modpack like 8 gb ram , that will affect other games ( minecraft will not be opened while playing another games btw foe sure:) ) ?

    • @Heliosentrismo
      @Heliosentrismo  3 місяці тому +1

      Only will affect when open, even if it's open but minimized should take less cpu and less gpu but same ram usage c:

    Ram, your Chip set and Video card is needed to increase your FPS is not Ram alone, not Chipset alone, and Video card alone, it should be balance input

    • @Heliosentrismo
      @Heliosentrismo  3 місяці тому +1

      Yep, I know ram isn't the only one working here. What we're trying to do here is for those who have a good enough pc to run Minecraft but still have some issues loading chunks, low fps on modpacks or stuttering so with this vid those people should have a better experience while playing this game c:

    But i notice something , like lets say in atm9 modpack, and u out like 8 gb ram for it , it gets better of course, but more rams like 10gb if u have 32 ram , will not increase fps , bc i have this rams iand when i add more rams , it was horrible .
    So that doesn't work in modpacks or what? Btw it says in atm9 that recommended is 8069( around this)

    • @Heliosentrismo
      @Heliosentrismo  3 місяці тому

      On my research found same issue on multiples cases (about more ram=stutter problems/less fps)
      01:28 Here you can tell that 4GB is better than 12GB (on mods should be more noticeable) but yeah, looks like increasing too much RAM will give you problems c:

  • @Boomer112

    I have no idea why i watched this video since my PC only has 8gb ram, meaning the max amount of ram i can allocate is 4gb so my PC doesn't slow down *too* much.
    Maybe i can actually allocate 6gb ram too though, but i've been way too scared to try.

    • @kaz4184
      @kaz4184 3 місяці тому +1

      its not like your pc will break if you try to put more ram into minecraft one time.. 2GB for system i think is enough, if pc will be too slow you can just alt f4 or if its frozen just restart and you're fine
